Thank you, Moonlight Watcher for these videos! Being a Motty fan is akin to a Where's Waldo game, as he only appears at private events in the USA. I would love to attend a concert, but that is not possible so videos such as this one are so much fun.

Thanks for sharing again Moonlight! Fun to see all the outfits and drunk actions around him while he sings, of course with Purim those antics are expected lol.

That guy next to Motty Steinmetz (who put his arm around Motty's shoulder) - he always kinda reminded me of Ishay Ribo (parts of his face look similar to Ishay's and he moves and sways like Ishay usually does in concerts). Today I read that Ishay Ribo participated in that Purim event too. So I'm almost 100% sure - that's him 🙂.

Before Motty Steinmetz's singing and music came into my life sometime in June 2022, one of my most favourite songs had been "Shir LeMaalot" by Ben Snof (the 2-nd song sung by Motty here). I would give a lot to have a full version of his singing of this song from that day. It brings me shivers and goosebumps each time I hear it...

Crying opens the Gates of G-d's will. We are not ashamed of our tears. We don't suffer like martyrs, we are not tortured. We pray to G-d. And Hashem carefully collects our tears of prayers. Have you heard Motty's words about crying? What does it mean to be a Hasidic Jew, for you? If that had been a private moment, a private suffering, Motty would have left that place, would have stopped his prayer. But he held his microphone, he shouted the words into it, he shouted OUR prayer, OUR pleading, being a speaker for the whole Jewish nation. Don't you understand - we want to melt our hearts, to open them, to pray like Motty did - no matter the condition we are, sober or drunk. You said in one of your comments that we should follow Motty's spiritual ways. Motty Steinmetz knows that he gets people back in Teshuvah with his tears. That is why he gives his own personal permission to publishing these videos of him. That is something new, isn't it? That Motty knows that his tears can change this world for the better. That's just a clown wig. Clowns wear these rainbow colours all the time. Don't worry, most of the people at that Purim party are Haredis and don't support gay movements in any way (no offence to them, it's against Judaism).I'm not sure this guy was even aware of the gay connotations of those colours.
