Story of great Rabbi Akiva, hero and martyr of the Second Temple period (70CE). Among his comrades and disciples was Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, author of «Zohar». Motty’s wisdom is akin to Rabbi Akiva’s philosophy. Pinchus Bichler - conductor of the Malchus Choir, Moshe Laufer (in the video clip -arrangement and piano), so as in the "Muron Devishmayu" in Aramaic. Motty's scale of languages, connected with the Jewish history, is great!

The 4-th from the left there is a famous Hasidic singer Zanvil Weinberger. The 3-rd one from the left (next to Zanvil) is his brother (Michael Weinberger, a member of this choir).

@@Stolze.Kurdin47 Shalom Sevcan 🌆 This song is in Aramaic language: "Yehe Ra'avu Kudumah Desiftach Libui Beoraisu". ("May it be a will before You that You open my heart to the Torah"). These lines are repeated several times during a song. This song is an actual prayer which is said every time the Torah scroll is taken out of the holy ark in the synagogue (for a public reading).
