Shalom.Lieber Mondlichtbeobachter, ich will schon immer wissen, was bedeuten diese Worte: ... Shalom u'brajot ; Toda Raba ; Baruch Hashem ; Shaka Tova ; Shabat Shalom.... Oft schreiben das die Fans in Kommentaren. Ich weiß nur ,daß ,,Matzel Tov - Viel Glück,, bedeutet. 🕎 💜 Bitte übersetze mir die Worte.

Motty has true Hasidic feeling of a prayer, treating every word with extreme strain, no matter where and when he addresses to G-d, so as to our souls. At the same time, his intonations appeal to human reason, taking away drowsy unconscious affectations from darkened minds. Rabbi Yitzhak Unger of Vizhnitz is mentioned by Motty in “Atik Yomim” as the author of “Ke al Taarog”, whose melody expresses exact meaning of every word.

Thank you very much for sharing. Motty is not only blessed with a extraordinary voice, but a hard worker. He works hard to give his best. The concert version of this song, that you posted, is one of my favourites songs of Motty. (In combination in the medley with "Vehi noam") This song, sung by Motty, is absolutely beautiful. 💙🤍🔥

@@moonlightwatcher9162 I agree. When he was younger, in the beginning, without a proper training in voice, he was fabulous because he sings with all the emotion. I think that now, his voice is better controlled and very beautiful. This is good for singing for many many years, like opera singers. All the emotion and heart and a good training. By the way. Yesterday I found a recording of Motty at the very beginnig of his colaboration with Rubi. I think this is his first recording. He sings beautifully. Maybe you know it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4eLt82zcZbcgJM.html

@@MadridVesna Oh yes, I know it. But I was glad to watch it again (and saved the link), thanks to you. Motty started collaborating with Ruvi Banet in spring 2013 (during Sefirat HaOmer days). Motty signed on an agreement then. This fact was mentioned in one of their audio-interviews on a radio. This song is actually a promotional presentation for one of the yeshivot (called "Amal Shel Torah"). It's like the song "Tseno Ureno" that Motty recorded for "Ateret Shlomo Yeshiva" (which, as you know, became a mega hit) - it was also made for advertising, but on a larger scale. I happened to see footage of Motty's performance at the Achnasat Sefer Torah event back in the fall of 2012. It's in KZread. I have to look for it, for I didn't save the link 😔.
