Great video Kyle. I wouldn’t have thought that version of the tire would be so capable on pavement...now I have some serious thinking to do as I was going to fit the Tractionator Adventure tires to my 1290SA, but I’m going to look more into these first. Being an Aussie I’m a little proud that the guys keep putting out really solid tires

Ronan Rogers I’m sorry for not speaking more to your comment when it first came in.... either the Adventure or the RallZ will be great for your 1290SA. The ADV is just a couple percent less aggressive... both will get you to your destinations. The Adv is 100% natural rubber and the RallZ has Cilicia added to the compound. Cheers, Kyle

These big bikes do require Unicorn Tires... Smooth Rolling. Super Grippy on Pavement. Long Lasting. Eats up Gravel Roads. Does not get stuck in Sand. Cleans out in Mud. Lasts for and entire Adventure Trip (more than 3k miles). Can handle tons of weight (overloaded motorcycles). Can handle long stretches of 100 mph. Can handle 160 hp. And again.... Lasts a long time. It really is crazy what we have come to expect from our tires. Thanks for watching. - Kyle

Great Vid I just cane of a rear Motoz Tractionatior ADV a pretty good tyre I got around 4000kms on it before it was spent ( around 2500 US miles ) I found once they got down to about the last 500 miles traction wasn’t the best . I also found on wet Tar roads VERY dicey ! otherwise agree a great tyre . I’m about to fix the Motoz Tractionatior Desert H/T ( more a full on knobby) it’s DOT and about a 85/15 tyre . • @manybikes

AtlasOffroader Ha! Ha! The speed rating is for long durations of time, not short bursts. I have ridden my 1190 at speeds of 120+ for an entire tank of fuel across Nevada. I’ve not had ant issues with speed - other than the front end wobble known by the Motoz front tires. When that happens (70 to 80mph) I would just back off until the front end gets stabilized and then could accelerate then up to whatever speed I wanted / needed. As for MTC / ABS... I LOVE power! I run Sport Mode everywhere all the time... MTC On and ABS On when on the road. As soon as I leave the pavement I switch both MTC and ABS to Off and run it in Sport Mode. I tried Off Road mode, but in the steep hill climbs we encounter the motor would retard and I would lose power. Unacceptable - so... back to sport mode - no assists. Thanks for watching! - Kyle

My DR650/790 with Dunlop 606 tires will wheelie either way all day in the first 3 gears, and my Super Duke R (obviously sticky street tires) will wheelie effortlessly whenever you want... Even when you don't want ;) I'm looking for a softer tire than the Mitas so I can unleash my inner hooligan on my new to me ADV R as well as have good off road capability. So, I'm shocked to see your experience on these tires on the road. I put Rallz Rear and DV front on my Multistrada 950S and having a completely different results on road. Rear seems to wander when rolling straight on any road surface between 30-50mph. Makes lane splitting super unpredictable because the rear just feels unplanted. When leaned over, the bikes feels pretty stable, although I haven't taken them to the edge yet. Also, I'm finding that the rear just spins up when accelerating aggressively in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear. With traction control on, 1st gear lights up traction control constantly if I try to roll on hard or clutch up the front end. Turn traction control off and it just spins for days. Not sure how many miles is considered broken in, but this is after ~300 miles and already showing wear on the center knobs of the rear. Running 30 psi in the rear. Also keep in mind that I'm on 17/19 wheels.

This is very interesting… I’ve run this exact combo on three bikes now and haven’t experienced anything that you have… for my it has been the golden combo. I too run 30ish most of the time. Two of the bikes were 21/18 and one a 1250 GSA with 17/19 wheels. When I turn TC off and twist the grip the in 1st, 2nd or sometimes even third the front tire lifts instead of the real wheel spinning.

Never mind mostly, your "lost in the wilderness" video answered most of my questions I think these would work well on a lighter bike too. Nice riding on that bike by the way! Kyle, how do you feel these would do on a lighter bike, XR650R off road compared to the Desert H/T I'm riding now. I'd like a touch better road, but don't really want to give up the amazing traction I'm getting on steep loose rocky, sandy climbs a heavier bike might not try like we can find here in California, or if I"m really stuck in tight stuff I should be riding a light 250 instead of the big red pig? Will these bite in dry conditions close to the Desert H/T's? Thanks for doing such great video testing - if I road a bigger bike you'd have answered all my questions! Will definitely order from Chaparral in appreciation of the great reviews.

Thanks for your inquiry David. I am just finishing up a Review on the Desert HT's and I touch on the RallZ in that video too... so stay tuned! Answer is YES. The RallZ is a fantastic tire (I think better than the HT) as the rubber compound is softer... but the lugs are bigger giving it better longevity, better street stick and very similar off-road hook-up as the HT. Run the smaller sizes on the smaller bikes and you will be really happy with the results. Chaparral laid me off due to Covid-19 in March... so when you are ready I can Sell You the Tires and you won't be disappointed in the service you receive, I promise you that. Just message me in IG and I'll get it handled. Thanks for watching! - Kyle

@@manybikes Thanks for getting back to me, and great to hear about your next test and the RallyZ will do the job for me. Sorry to hear about the work situation, and I'll gladly reach out on IG and order through you. Definitely need to get the word out to people they can do that through you to help support the effort you put into this stuff!

Hi Kyle, really like your vids. I'm 77. I want to buy a bike - maybe a Honda 450L or the Yamaha Tenere 700. My terrain is black top & dirt - some hard pack, some crusty dirt in the hilly areas, some mud. We get a lot of rain here, so I want good traction on the street. It's now 2020, do you still feel the same about the Motoz RallZ Tractionator Adventure Tires?

Yes, I love them... but the next RallZ rear I run... I’ll pair with a Dunlop TrailMax Mission tire for front end stabilization. I too am waiting on a T7!

Are they as good as Karoo 3's??

I did like the Karoo 3's, but only after about 500 miles... they were soooooooo slippery for the longest time! I get a bout 1/3rd more mileage with the Motoz Rallz tire and it does perform better on the street than the Karoo 3. Dirt wise... they are very similar. - Kyle

Totally agree that the tires without a center strip work better. The 140 Tube Type is the arrow style without center strip too.... I’ve run that on my KTM 950.

Not for me. Very expensive tyres, and stiff sidewall’s so a pain to mount without a machine. Indeed a lot of rubber on it, so also a lot of weight... Michelin Anakee Wild is the better tyre I think. Just my 2 cents. Cool review anyways🤟🏻👌🏻
