Always loved the GS. My friend has a 1999 GS400 that he's had for years. Such a shame that Lexus cancelled the GS. I blame the ES for stealing its sales for many years as the GS is a much better car IMO. I'm a proud owner of a 2016 GS350 F-Sport that I bought used a couple years ago & has been an absolutely amazing car.

I actually blame the last generation of GS. GS was always a great looking car with a profile of a sport sedan with short trunk line sportback like type. They killed that style in last generation of GS and made it look like any other ordinary sedan. People were used to that sporty line and didn't want ordinary looks in such an expensive car. It looks like a car for old people That's good enough for ES or a Camry but not GS. Interior was also nothing special with dashboard that strongly copied BMW style wich is a shame. I'm sure those things killed GS model line. There's not a lot of last generation of GS on the road and I can't blame potential customers for not liking the lack of style and very basic ES like styling.
