The only negative with Motorola is them not updating firmware fast enough. The Razr 40 models are unbelievably still on Android 13!

Really? I thought that most Moto Phones from last year could have got Android 14 update I got the Android 14 update on my Moto G54 in April, I thought it was the same for others too

Yeah, I've got the 40 ultra and I am still on android 13.

I have the samsung flip5. Comparing these 2 new models, there is no question I will recommend the Razr 50 Ultra to anybody who wants a flip phone

I’m interested why you would choose that? I still have the Galaxy 4 Flip and I have been limited with the small screen but have let it slide for the purple color.

Motorola looks good when flip. The outside screen looks much better than Sami. The inside screen still Sami.

Those Motorola accessories are not included in the US.

A big difference that was glossed over in "software", is that you can run any app much more easily on the RAZR, but also things like notifications like 2-factor Google, can be done on the front screen. On the Galaxy Flip, you see the notification in a bar, but you have to open the phone to complete the task - was annoying.

One important thing to mention is that Samsung for the last 2 years on the US has allowed you to trade in the previous model for about $900-$1000 off making the price to upgrade $50-$100 if you include reservation discounts. I've never traded anything in with Motorola but i doubt they'll give you the new phone for $100 when trading in last year's model unlocked in the US with no carrier.

The flip 6 looks gorgeous but I'm definitely buying the new razr, I just love Motorolas gestures features and I love that 4 in display.

I keep my phone for at least 5 years, unless it's broken beyond repair. So yeah, OS and security supports is really important to me.

Im getting the cheaper moto one. Im still iffy on the lifespan on these, and this would be a good introduction device for them.

May just go for Moto Razr Plus, although I will wait to see what Samsung has to say about their Z Flip 6 at Galaxy Unpacked.

if u want luxury and simplicity, the z flip just mogs. if you want a clamshell android with a fuller range of features, get the razr lol.
