@@NSUGS they’re really good on road, and in the wet they’re very good grip as well. For the money it’s hard to find a better tire. I’ve had the more expensive tires but I’ve found I’m just as happy with the shinko.

Really amazing when that press finally lowers and viola, you've a hot steamy brand-new high-quality motorcycle tire.

I've been using Shinko Tires on my Motorcycle Bikes for years and highly recommend them. They have excellent grip in Wet weather and a smooth ride. I know the guys are tired making the tires but I want to let you know you make a great tire. Many Thanks from Texas, usa.

わあ、シンコータイヤだ。前車のトライアンフ・タイガー８００ＸＣＸで履いてました。E７０５です。 オフタイヤらしくゴロゴロした乗り心地ですが、激安で長寿命（１６０００kmもつ）、見た目もブロックっぽい感じでアドベンチャーバイクに最適です。もうこれ一択です。これからもよろしく。

After having worked in a rubber manufacturing facility for 25 years all this is very similar to the product we made, rubber milking inflations. I can easily remember the smell, not at all like burnt rubber, more of a chemical smell. Even that smoke coming off of the molded tire, more of an oil smell.

Same here! We produce rubber floorings in Germany. Some of the processes are quite similar to ours. :) I could watch it all day long!

There are so many lost machines that can be found nestled in industry you would have never known they existed lest you worked on them once before. Underappreciated relics of the old world.

Best handling tires I have had on a Harley....don't care if they wear out faster. I trust these in wet weather or curves more than the other brands.

I've recently put a Metzeler Cruisetec on the front of my Softail Slim and it's really improved the ride and handling. Maybe next time I'll buy a Shinko. My rear tire is nearly due for replacement, so perhaps I'll get a Shinko to replace the current tire, which is a Michelin Commander III.

I put Shinko's on my Yamaha V-Max. They lasted way longer than the Dunlop Qualifiers meant for the bike.

@@angryyankee9184 The softer the tyre is the more grip it offers. Also wears down faster. So how long they last is not an indication of the grip quality. Track tyres last from few 100s km to 2-3k km. It's a compromise.

Shinkos are pretty low end motorcycle tires. High end would be more Michelin, Pirelli, or Metzler.

I've been considering these for the back of my '18 V Star 250. But I like the old school Custom Cruiser-style tread on the front 3/18 tire by Cheng Shen.

Can't think of why do they cost an arm and a leg w/o thinking extra profit for the manufacturer. They take the same process as car tyre (built a bit differently but not that it affects the price so much) but they are several times more expensive. A ripoff!

Special mixable plastic bags, all big major brands such as Michelin use this method too.

Always amazes me how they leave the plastic wrap on all of the bulk materials while they are being mixed together. You would think that the plastic film and sheet and bags would contaminate the compound formulation.

I stopped using these tires they just wear out too fast and I now see why 50lbs of clay and long chain polymers form plastic. Liked the video but dont like the tires.

I mean, why would you? They're only the most important part of the bike, supplying the couple inches of contact patch that are the entirety of your interface with the road. :)

Tires are one of the most recycled things in the US. ~90% of tires are recycled into other products. The remaining ~10% are burned in power plants in places that cant support tire recycling (like Hawaii and Alaska).

Curious.. Why the plastic wrappers in raw rubber bundle are not removed prior to mixing? Seen in all rubber factory videos.
