Short clutch long brake. I have exactly average hand size, and short clutch is perfect for 2-3 fingers on with pinky or pinky and ring finger spacer. If you don’t put your pinky or pinky and ring finger between the bar, and lever try it. You’ll never use 4 fingers again trust. Brake you want longer so there’s A.) zero chance of missing it, and B.) If you’re racing/ aggressive street riding/ emergency stopping/ honestly every type of riding there’s no NEED to rev match. Rev matching is to get into a lower gear to accelerate, or for the badass sound. Zero performance gain or extra wear on the clutch for deceleration. Rev matching actually hinders deceleration. So why not use 4 fingers for added control of the pressure. 6 piston brakes don’t add grip to tires, but they sure do increase stopping performance because you can control the pressure way more precisely. Same logic.

I don't climb or train grip strength, absolutely no problem using 2 fingers
I fell and broke my brake lever at the tip where the notch was designed. I also broke the hand guard and the indicator… and the bar end . And my rib.
Gonna be honest, just use less hard springs in your clutch and go for the shorter lever.
Ride safe po kuya Idol😊
I'd rather have full size levers that fold, kinda solves that whole problem. I have shortys on my tuono, and wanna swap them back to full size. My RSV have CRG full carbon fiber levers and will have guards
Brake lever guards not there for when you crash, they are there for when you are racing and it stops another riders bike in close racing coming in contact with your brake lever and making your brakes coming on. Just ask Simoncelli about them!

I said the guard is to decrease chances of anything brushing against the brake lever. Do you have a hard time hearing?
Bro how do you get to many bikes
You hold your clutch in on the street?
Have you ever had any problem lever hitting the fairing? And you think they’ll fit the 660?
Real racing levers have a hole in end, it snaps on impact and the hole allows air through so levers don't slightly apply. But any way short lever or long lever is personal!, Never noticed a short lever in WSBK, MotoGP or BSB.
I have a slipper clutch so it doesnt matter how many fingers i use but thanks!
I got adjustable levers and I use long break and short clutch lever because I like to short with 2 Fingers only
What? I never clutch with 4 fingers O.o Only moment i used 4 is when i struggle to get into neutral (which is rare) My clutch is quite easy to pull tho

I have so much more control with 4 fingers, on the track I use two though I feel like it variés bike to bike and person to person

@@blizzthebike really? Thats a rare occurrence Whenever i try to use 4 finger, my palm doesn't feel that stable on the grip and i make small movements that make me shift horribly But yeah it heavily depends on bike and rider. My riding instructor told me to only use 4 so the clutch lever could be fully pulled or sth My friend has a ducati 848 with a heavy ass clutch. He uses 3-4 fingers cause its too fatiguing with 2

@@someguy9520 Heh, I was taught to only use 2, using 4 fingers is something you might do for the first month of riding though.

@@MotoDash1100 another proof where it depends on the person/instructor et Funnily i never used 4 fingers, even when instructed to Coming from MTB and road cycling, 1-2 fingers max for best brake modulations it just made more sense
Been using a 2 finger clutch on my street bike since ever
I prefer both levers to be short, but I work with my hands for a living, so I'm not a puss when it comes down to hand strength.
Nice nice
😮😮😂😂😂 I learned something today 🎉
Is it ok to mount the race equipment but not race?
Yeah I crashed once on my left side and my oem clutch lever completely snapped off. I hand to launch the bike into 1st by pulling on the clutch cable and it worked lmao. I ran every red light cuz I couldn't afford to stop but all was good
Yeah just laid a bike down in a corner and lost my entire front brake lever. Bit of a hairy ride home lol
I drive in dense traffic and have to operate the clutch constantly. Use 2 fingers and get a stronger grip. I just don't see how you can have proper control of the bike operating the clutch with 4 fingers.
it wont hurt my clutch just using 2 fingers, not bringing clutch to handle right?
Is not problem...I always train my 2 fingers 😳😎
I rode shorties on both sides and never had a fatigue issue
I have big hands and grew riding motorcycles with long levers, short levers makes me feel I'm riding mountain bikes without pedaling.😅
Wait, you slow down in traffic?
Aftermarket clutch levers are the best. Cant even feel it in your fingers
Both my levers bend upwards in the case that it goes down.
Aren’t impaktec shorty levers smooth like butter so your forearm doesn’t get all worked out too much
Yes but stunt bike 👀 RSC 1 finger clutch lever🕺🏾🕺🏾
Can I use in cruiser bike?
Short clutch long brake you'll never slow down enough with 2 fingers when your life depends on it
I shift two fingers on the street. Looking for something that doesn’t bust my knuckles lol or adjust bite point but I don’t know how🤣🤣

El chapo if you can't hold your clutch down with 2 fingers then you are weak!
Everyone wants short levers until they actually need a handful of brakes in an emergency. Then wish they had full length ones.

If you need a handful to brake then your just a squid 🦑 and panicking , i one finger my clutch and brake the entire time I’m out riding. There’s never a moment West I need to grab my front brake lever entirely cause my 1 finger applies the same pressure my entire hand would smh

not once, what sort of a boomer made up scenario is that?
This dude takes in the pooper button
I always just use 2 fingers for my clutch no matter what.
Why do you want it to snap though?
I always hold the clutch with 2 fingers
Why do people bother going with an expensive aftermarket lever. What's the difference between the oem lever? Thank you.
Unfortunately you don’t get to choose what side you fall on…
Will that fit on my kettle

He is like the person who says " mobile phone", for an iphone. He could have said my "apprila"... just "my sport bike"....😊
I always hold mine with 2
