Kevin this is absolutely inspiring, the whole family are big fans of your travels by motorbike.

At first, I wasn't sure I was going to like the motorcycle videos because of the camera's ability, or lack thereof, to catch the scenery. What you're doing is great. Front visuals of the winding road landmarks with back shots of scenery have kept my attention. The commentary is always brilliant. Cheers.

Excellent bit of driving Kevin, especially where you opened the throttle and burnt your way along the tarmac. These two laned roadways are a task in them self's trying to navigate with other traffic to consider a safe passing. The scenery is awesome. 🖖👍 Made in Scotland...Copied worldwide.

I find myself watching most videos on KZread at 1.5 or 2X speed. I needed to slow this one down to .5X speed and relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Another stunning video! Well done.

We just finished a tour of Scotland, not as comprehensive as yours, we turned down the car hire company SUV upgrade , kept the little Hyundai I-20 and stayed hotels/Airbnb, but watching this has us back there. The small car turned out to be a good decision based on some of the situations we found ourselves in! Had never gone north of Loch Lomond before. Totally agree with comment about Scotland having it all in terms of scenery types. The most memorable drive was Tongue to Lairg on A836. Basically 50 miles on a golf cart size track! Fantastic scenery

I have to complement you on your filming from the bike. It is so clear and you really get a feel for the experience. I'm starting to miss my old motor bike days, but not those sudden down poors or hall storms. It's good to see you got some good weather on this adventure.

Enjoying the videos as always. The islands are beautiful! I miss Aslan. She is a lot more relaxing than the illusion of speed on the bike but the scenery is superb.

What a lovely coastal drive early in the video. Beautiful sea and sky. Yes, it’s interesting how the landscape can change so quickly here in Scotland. Also interesting was your comment about tyre wear. Oban looks similar to Inverness, but not so sprawling. But then I’ve never been to Oban. Looks like you found your campsite all right Kevin - and your sprouts! Look forward to next week’s episode.

I thought of you last week. Parked at a light with a bike next to me. A rice cooker of some description in bright colours. Then realised, it was a lady. There was a pony tail. Light changes and she takes off, and from behind my van, there appeared a very big man on a very big bike, with a bambino clinging to his back, and behind him another bike with a young adult. I chuckled out loud. As we say in Danish, hyggeligt. 🇩🇰 A family out on a run.

Having watched all your narrowboat seasons, you always seemed quite adept at maneuvering your boat! I still remember that WayTooLong of a tunnel 😳-you moved Straight on Through To The Other Side 😉 & I liked watching the cooking & engine work too! It's good to shake things up though, right? Any plans for Skara Brae on Orkney?

Sat here watching while waiting for my new Alpine Star boots to arrive so I can go for a nice ride ( Honda NC700X) along the coast in Hawaii for sunset. I would love to travel across Europe on a motorcycle!

@@CountryHouseGent Bikers seem to love Norfolk. Lots of regular biker haunts. Rather like Scotland we have a little bit of everything, except mountains of course. Don’t bother with The Fens tho’ unless you are addicted to the smell of cabbages! 😆

The weather definately makes it. I did Oban to Campbeltown on that road 3 years ago and it was throwing it down all day! You could spend days on that leg as there is so much to stop and see, Kilmartin in particular and its many standing stones. We stayed in a cottage you passed, but it was edited out @23.44 when you joined the main road. Amazing view and sea eagles every day. I could happily live in Oban.

I love low down torque too, Kevin. I used to have an Astra GTE 16v and enjoy a blast around the twisties, just leaving it in 3rd gear. 16v, done reight.

Another fab one Kevin, this whole trip is brilliant. You’ve been lucky with the weather, which is rare for that part of the country. Lovely stuff.

god those scenes along that twisty road with the GS and it's low end grunt just torquing out of the turns was a thrill. If I keep watching this I'll be darkening the doorstep of the local BMW motorrad dealer. Mind you BMW bikes are hellaciously expensive here in the US.

BMW's are very well made and hold their value so a well maintained low mileage used example is a very safe bet. Mine is 16 years old, 44k miles and still feels new.

@@CountryHouseGent fair point. I was on a visit with my BMW roadster club to the BMW factory here in South Carolina and they had a BMW motorcycle exhibit on. I do admire the smooth efficiency and technical brilliance of their bikes. Still I'd have to sell a kidney to afford a used one LOL

I drove into Oban a few weeks ago whilst touring to buy some veg at Tesco. I ended up with 2 X battered sausage and chips. The reviews at the fish bar were too good to pass. Loving the series Kevin 👌

What a shame you rode straight past all the prehistoric standing stones , cairns and the brilliant new museum in Glen Kilmartin. Still, I'm loving your journey on roads I'm so familiar with. At the diversion, if you'd been able to look left, you would have seen the whole hillside has slipped and covered the main road to the extent the new temporary road had to be built.

Another stunning video Kevin . thanks for taking the time to upload it.. It's a reminder to the times I and a few friends spent weeks exploring the Scottish Highlands on our motorbikes.. Unfortunately those days are long gone now.. there is nowhere in the UK that has scenery that comes close to the Scottish Highlands.. Sadly if they push ahead with the green energy agenda.most of this wonderful scenery will disappear .. To be replaced with wind turbines and electricity pylons... Anyway Kevin keep your self safe and well mate.. watch out for the idiots that think that they don't have to stop at road junctions...

I haven ever driven a full size motor coach. I'm sure they are a handful let alone on those narrow paths. Surprised they are allowed actually. Tourism money talks. Luckily it wasn't even further over on you. May not have even known you were there even with lights on. I have driven a Semi with a full size excavator with a low boy on Michigan's icy and hilly dirt roads in late Fall. Challenging at times. When committed feed her the coal, which you did Made it!

My point of view is higher than the camera, so the distortion doesn't factor into it.
