It started off as a dream... and then turned into a reality...
A challenging motorcycle ride awaits two ladies... can we do it? Flew into Miami and rented Harley Davidson motorcycles at Eagle Rider! Edgar came through for me and had a Harley Heritage waiting for me. It was just a year different from my motorcycles, which is good. Only thing is that it didn't have a lowering kit on it like mine does. So, I had to be on my tip toes .. the weight of the bike felt completely different, but I was able to adjust throughout the ride. So, let's go ride. First day was to Key Largo to eat at Snappers Restaurant, one of my favorite restaurants down in the Keys....

What you're smelling from the mangrove is that the roots of thr mangrove are above the water line and the sun is drying out the roots.

Thank you… I use an Insta 360 camera and 2 GoPro. I have a long selfie stick across the handle bars and the 360 on the side to get side shots.

Hahah. I had two small children at the time… it hasn’t changed except for a large patio addition. The food is amazing… plus music!
Great video so far Crystal. I love Key West. I've never been anywhere else in the Keys so it's not about if but when I do this one. I would love to plan this for September, October or early next year. I own a 2018 Heritage Classic 107 so I would be looking for a Heritage to ride also.

It was fun going over the 7 mile bridge down to Key West… we did it twice. We had different weather both times. I’ve been down there 4 or 5 times in a car but never experienced it on a motorcycle.. completely different. I think we experienced record heat. Smart to go down in October. I packed and unpacked so many times!!! I packed my drone but too windy to use it. I packed one riding outfit per day…2 pair of shorts. Brought a jacket to wear for safety but just way too hot for it.

How much you pay daily for the rental
The smell of decay is a Florida thing. Usually the stink is people or something that they've touched, like the water and the algae blooms from too much fertilizer. Lots of things kill mangroves including hurricanes, freezing weather, climate change, sea level rise, pollution and road runoff, developers, homeowners, city councils, state government, Corp of Engineers, miners, loggers, farmers, industry...take a look at the ground for signs of bulldozers or chainsaws; lately it's been fungus that makes the news. 99% is people caused and we only see the last 1% because all the other mangroves are gone.
