Well, that truely is a beautiful Church in Darrington, and pleased me to see a still of it. Thanks. I have always enjoyed the beauty, and savoured the tranquility of Churches, and will often stop, on my travels around Europe, to have a mooch round those that catch my eye, streching my legs while doing so. It must have rained there two months non-stop, there's sooo much water on the roads..., and I think you unknowingly gave us the reason why there is, as you said, the "river Went", ha ha very funny ole chap! I originally signed up here for "Goldie", but have since found so much more to enjoy, in your YT offerings..., keep 'em coming, see ya next week.

Glad you appreciated the church, I find them fascinating for the history and architecture. We've just had the wettest February on record here in the UK. The river went - I actually missed that unintentional pun, thanks 😂😂😂😂 Goldie will be coming out of winter hibernation very soon.

Another great ride around the area. Haven’t been up to the castle site in Ponte, but will have to do so. Lots of great info again, much appreciated & enjoyed. There used to be a pub in the middle of Cridling Stubbs, they served rather large steaks, very nice, don’t know if you ever went there? That water place in Wormersley, I’m sure there used to be a Lightning just set back from the road. The new pipe does sound good, reckon Harold took a bit of cleaning after that trip, lol. Looking forward to the remainder of the ride. Cheers, Martin.

Thanks Martin hope it brought back some good memories. The pub in Cridling Stubbs was the Ancient Shepheard and its now a private house. Its the large cream painted building on the right as I ride through the village. I'm afraid Harold has got pretty dirty all through the winter but he'll be having a rest soon as Goldie will be coming back out shortly. Cheers.

The new screen has definately reduced wind noise. Lots of interesting history Roger as usual, water lane lived up to it's name. And don't forget 'Pontefract cakes' 🙂

Yes, I find it much more comfortable now without the constant buffeting and the sound has improved. Totally forgot to mention the Pontefract cakes and I did think of them as I was doing the voice over cos I love em. Cheers.

Yet another great stream .Harold sounds as good as ever.Great sound mate . Did you cover Elvington yet .If i missed it please let me know what stream it was . I really want to see it. I dont think that i have missed any. You live in a beutifull county made for riding out.I live in Ireland at the mo and was from Tarleton near Preston. I miss the local Black Pudding . Great with a couple of sausage and two eggs lol. Not to mention the good old Steak and Kidney pudding . Thanks 👍👍👍

Thanks for the comments. Haven't done the Elvington run yet, got a few routes planned for later in the year. I just love black pudding. When I go up to Eddys at Tadcaster for bike servicing, there's a food caravan just down the road that I go to while I'm waiting. They do bacon and black pudding sarnies, fabulous.

just started to watch, the wind buffering did not bother me! lol but i like the sound of a muffler. if you do not have that sound, then those who complain should watch car driving channels. just me i guess.

The wind buffeting was more for my personal comfort but I think it has made a bit of a difference on the recorded sound. Thanks for watching.

yes ,, i keep telling people those adv type screens are a joke , i am afraid people are like sheep and the makers just put this crap on to follow the leader , ,, i see the roads are very badly flooded still ,

You may well be right Simon. This is my first encounter with this type of bike and screen and the ride is far better without it. I think the flooding is pretty much countrywide, the ground is just waterlogged and there's nowhere for the excess to go.
