Motorcycle Camping in Canada | ROYAL ENFIELD HIMALAYAN | A Documentary Film part1

This is part one of a two part film that documents my trip from Eureka California to Smithers, British Columbia which is about 1,000 miles North of the US/Canada border. I rode my 2021 ROYAL ENFIELD Himalayan, explored Western Canada, and tried to camp as much as I could along the way..... and it was GREAT!
I hope you like by brand of visual storytelling, and if you do, leave me a comment and let me know...
Thanks for riding along...

hi there! I'm writing you from an italian Hospital where I am currently hospitalized. Just wanted to give you a massive thank you for giving me several carefree minutes with this video. Loved the editing style, your music choices and the voiceovers, can't wait to get out of here so that I can ride my HIMA, that is very lonely, waiting for me in my garage. KZread should be filled with more content like yours, where both the creator and the viewer get together into the same experience. Thank you for the effort that you put into this 2 and a half hours calm and peaceful entertaining video. Please keep posting once in a while when you've got the right vibe. Bye from Ancona (Italy)

Hello there, Let me first say that I hope you’re doing better and your hospital stay is short. With that said, I am truly humbled in the fact that my video gave you some comfort during a time when you’re stuck in one place and can’t get out. trust me I’ve been there. I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel and thank you SO MUCH for the kind words. Ride safe and I hope you’re out of the hospital soon! 😎🍻 Forrest

Hi I’m Al and I’m new to your channel and I must say I’m loving it. I sold my last bike due to injuries two years ago and I’m impressed with the write up the Royal Enfield is getting in my country (Australia). Safe travels Al🍺👍🏽

Welcome to the channel Al! I must say that the 411 Himalayan is so much fun to ride and truly is a “Go Anywhere Motorcycle” 😎 If you’re considering getting one, I totally recommend it, however, the new Himalayan, I believe is out in Australia now and not quite yet available here in the US. I am very interested in that bike as well. Not that I’m going to trade my old one, But a little bit bigger bike for those long highway miles would be nice. Thanks for watching and welcome again to the channel Al….🍻😎 (New videos of Northern California adventures coming soon….)

Hey there my friend, really enjoyed this video like I have enjoyed the past ones you’ve done, how ironic that particular brand of dehydrated meal is my favorite one of all, chicken teriyaki is the best, as far as your tent, for the longest I’ve used the kilty two man, two years ago I bought the north face three man tent, game changer, I like room and the three man fit the bill. It was a pleasure meeting your sister, seems very sweet, liked to have met her when I came through in 2016 coming back from Hyder Alaska, my battery was playing out up in Hyder and closest Harley/ motorcycle shop was there in Smithers, we got in late the day before and they were closed, one of the nastiest campground host was there in Smithers, my years of traveling west I’ve never met anyone like him, he appeared to be really plastered with a serious attitude, he didn’t like my Harley, after a few choice words and letting him know what a Harley truly sounds like we left, we found a real nice one where it was part golf course and part campground, couldn’t ask for anyone nicer, anyway my two cents, will be loading up bikes and traveling all across Canada this summer, April heading down to the border to big Bend, awesome National park, been there three times, a place I’d recommend to you, take care buddy, look forward to what you post next. Rob Ala.

Hi Rob, always good to hear from you! I know the campground at the golf course that you’re talking about, I didn’t stay there, but it looks pretty nice and it’s not far from my sister’s house. Smithers is an amazing place and I can’t wait to go back! Maybe next year….this year it’s all about Northern California 😎 Safe rides and thanks again for watching and your continued support! 🍻😎

Happy New Year! Hey Forrest! What a treat you saved a ton of footage. It seems like you're on your second journey. Appreciate meeting Ashley who reminds me of Janet. Beautiful Japanese garden's. I was watching that gas gauge also. When the Himalayan hits reserve, there is roughly 70 miles left in tank I have found. This video is like a Nat-Geo film so I am viewing in parts. If I calculated correctly day 2 was 400 miles or over 7 hours in the saddle.
