Happens to me all the time. Constantly leaving the keys to my super yacht in my other trousers!

we take content on youtube for granted. not sure how much materialized benefit you have from out of this, but I am pretty sure most of your effort is fuelled by the natural intent and desire to share your world with us. there is so much work and effort going into this, day after day, nigh after night, editing until midnight, it is truly admirable. appreciate everything you do, you are clearly in the top 1 % , and even higher within that, when it comes to content quality online. wish you 'll have your own dream ship one day. sincerely, the Glatisant

Company and trust laws are very murky indeed. I lived in Jersey for many years and had close contact with many Company and Trust operators. It is a disgrace to the UK how these companies allow super-wealthy clients to avoid tax etc.

Sanctions must've made it extremely difficult for MY A's ETO to get replacement parts for the AIS transponder. :) I'm surprised that Yulia and her husband haven't been sanctioned for their efforts, and for that matter Opus Private and Flying Dutchman.

As always, a great update! Thanks eSysman. It's becoming a Gordian knot problem. I'm surprised the US Govt hasn't stepped in despite lifting the sanctions (or whatever the legal term is when relating to an object rather than a person) on the yacht.

I saw the ALFA NERO in person on vacation last month... looks amazing!!! There were several yachts docked their of similar size

Names have been given - sue THEM personally for the outstanding monies. Dont forget under UK law they are entitled to monies plus extra financial compensation for all the days it wasn't paid. Until Mrs Molokhova or whatever her name is, has settled ALL outstanding debts, including the years worth of salaries, the boat stays in Antigua. Soon see if her cash is worth anything, won't we? Include the monies owed to the port and require a formal letter of apology from `the owner` as to the reason for any delays. Get her name on record. Then sanction her too... Since when do we have to be nice to pigging Russians?

​@@Ivanna_Jerkovthis isn't quite right, the owner is still liable, they just can't pay them because of the sanctions so the government has to in the meantime. The owner would need to pay the government back to have their property released. Like any debt in most countries though, the government (or individual) can apply through the courts to confiscate the asset and sell it to pay those debts. This is the same for the property taxes that Russians aren't able to pay right now around the world. They'll still be due when (if) Russia gives up it's war and the sanctions are lifted.

The worst thing is that I don't own the yachts that are allegedly not mine 😒

There have to be a series of legal documents for ownership that must be recorded with the appropriate government entities. The detective in me would very much love to learn how to acquire this knowledge. Thank you!

Regarding the non flying of the flag of Sierra Leone on Motor Yacht A... where do the vessels purchase the flags from? And what would a vessel do if the flag was not a common flag and easily obtainable... is Sierra Leone a conmon flag state?

If Antigua has always known that Alfa Nero was owned by trust XXX, then why need to make a public request for the owner rof that yach to come forwarrd? When the yacht was arrested, if the onwer was not on sanctions, wouldn't the owner come forward and argue the boat should be released? Wouldnt the owner then at least sue to get the Antiguan government to pay the bills as long as the boat is arrested ? One would need to know about any attempt at communication between Antiguan government and the trust to whom the boat is registered. If the trust never responded, the process taken by the government can be justified.

Fly a skull and cross bones flag or a Gladsten cannon flag but replace the cannon with a photo of the yatch and come and take it lol

All those new owners will have bought a big headache .If you have that much money so you want the hassle of buying a boat that belongs to someone else . They will have to be very careful where they sail , it could be seized at any time from the real owners once his nightmare is over .

It’s hideous looking, why would anyone spend that much money on a luxury yacht that looks like a Navy battleship.

How is it possible to engage a Lawyer or anyone else for an sanctioned Russian citizen in Antigua or any other western country? Isn't his daughter sanctioned? And as any payment is not allowed from Russia how is the lawyer payed? If the daughter is not sanctioned, why wasn't the crew payed by his daughter or her trust? Solution is obviously to search the offices of opus and take any computers and files or whatever. The isle of man may be an independent country but still has to follow the laws of the Commonwealth, so all companies have to do so as well. In cooperation with the public services they must provide all documentation there is. But this would mean the tax paradises of the Commonwealth are no longer a safe haven to hide and the British would destroy this Resorts. It's just that the mighty in the background won't allow the politicians to do so.

I agree that the vessel was never abandoned. Crew members were on it. Emails sent to government was promptly dismissed by the attorney General as frivolous.

7:20 it doesn't sound like a yacht that's been abandoned to me. Unless I've misunderstood the totality of the sanctions as they relate to these yachts.. with the finances being sanctioned they can't make payments to the crew and repairs and the like.

These rich people get away with everything, to many loop holes for them. Those guys need to spread some wealth to some of us.

it is fitting that a Russian criminal can only enjoy his yacht in Dubai, where all you can do is stay indoors and spend money. As for Alpha Nero, I am tempted to think a Russian oligarch who considers bribery and lawlessness as just ways to get things done , probably thought he had enough money spread around to avoid the sanctions. After all, he is very rich, to an extent that spending even the cost to buy another yacht to get this one off the dock would be inconsequential to him. Still, a sea voyage in a gilded cage with no place to go besides the same second string locations would get to be frustratingly boring . Maybe these Russian boys like boats so much because of the safety factor if they happen to unexpectedly fall from a great height.

Don’t own a yacht if you paid for it from gains from your connections with a criminal government, the same way they went after Krupp’s family wealth after WWII the same way they go after those yachts.

This would be a good reason for countries that allow these Yachts to visit to raise taxes on the owners/users to cover these possibilities and problems. Tax payers shouldn't be footing the bill to maintain Billionaires' yachts.. what a joke!

You do not understand the significance of the flag. Without a flag, a vessel can not enter a port to purchase fuel and supplies. It can be boarded at sea etc.. It is a big deal!

The problem I have with these sanctions is that some of them are hitting people who are not even able to contribute towards the end of the conflict. It is not the last legal case we will hear about. If she is the legal owner, and I am sure there is a way to prove it, she should have the boat back immediately. But I think that what scares them is that she will just be put on the sanctions list. What about Phi, he is not on the list, but still they keep his boat, it is such a disgrace...
