@@dalesmith4985 Ride 4 is actually smarter in that sense.. but all games before that had that issue.. mgp 21 has the ride 4 engine so expect better ai

As the rider, you aim to keep your head as level with the horizon as possible, so it would be kind of silly to add a camera that is essentially "do the wrong thing"

@@Linnea-nb2jh the player can tlit their head. it makes sense for the camera to lean over, because the acceleration felt by the rider is in the rotated frame of the bike, and constant in the real world.

Please add a "crashing ends your race" option

@Florian D. yup but it's still sad that you play career mode and the i.a will never retire when this is part of this sport. When I play and I crash I usually quit the race in order to "make it real" but if the i.a never retires it's as unfair as crashing and winning the race because of tha almost instant respawn

Agreed. Im waiting for a motorcycle game where your bike doesn't just pop back in the middle of the track when you crash. Either have an animation of the rider hoping back on the bike or retire if impossible like in real racing.

Not one single mention of two of the most important additions in my opinion. #1 Being able to see the whole trackmap!! That is a huge gamechanger for the better!! #2 The live placement in the top left hand side. Again...so amazing and reminiscent of a televised motogp race.

So much to look forward to here... Bikes look weighty and unpredictable on brake and acceleration, rider movement looks beautiful and dynamic, HUD is awesome, and knee slider reaction to the ground is SO exciting. Keep it up guys!!

So far everything looks to be great step forward in comparison with 20 game. One little thing I'd like to see changed are throttle and brake indicators in HUD. Making them green and red instead of white would be much better. I also like that we get permanent position tower on the left like we see on TV. Hopefully those next 6 weeks won't drag along.

What kind of options does it have for a more casual fan? The 'hardcore sim' aspect scare me a bit, but I really want to play.

The brake tapping system is one of the bad elements of this game.

Looking good, thanks for keeping improving more and more substancially. I like the helmet cam tuckin to the side with the view shifting accordingly to the side in respect to the road itself, not just to the bike's fairing. Really glad to see this, as was also improved from ride 3 to 4. I love motogp19 how the feel, control and handling was improved, really precise, smooth, not too sensitive too. And with no aids can have a nice challenge but fair. The 3rd person sound i thought was really crisp too. And helmet view sounded good also. I love the old classic bikes too. I wish we had replays in all modes, like trials etc. Im on ps4, maybe it's a technical limit idk. Cheers Milestone, been having fun since superbike 1998 hehe. Edit: now i learned the nice realistic helmet cam with your point of view shifting closer to the inside of the curve is only a replay cam pff, common milestone please. And it's still the bike swinging left and right under you to the opposite side that you turn in ride4 and probably motogp21. Makes it impossible to follow a line except in 3rd person, disappointing..

Portimao is on RIDE4, released a few months ago by Milestone.

One thing I have to say about milestone, is that they have a lot of passion for the sport!

@@raiyyan8514 Well....i don't hear difference. Maybe it's a little bit more "soft" than last year, even if for "chainsaw" sound i don't understand what you mean. Anyway i was saying also for the others motogp sounds like ktm, that is complete wrong, because in the game it sounds like a screamer engine used in the first half of 2017 while from the second half of that year the ktm uses a bigbang engine that have a complete different sound (watch some video if you don't believe me and you will hear the difference). Same thing with the honda and aprilia sound and for many hystoric bikes. I hope that this year they will be better but i'm 100% sure it won't be.

Millestone doesnt implement things that were already in other games few years ago. Obviously last two games have been much better than previous ones but it is actually because these had really bad aspects.

Hi Milestone! Why in some tracks the bike is braking too quickly when trying to enter the first corner?? The bike is like actually gonna stop. Especially in the tracks that have long straight.

I havent played a gp game for a while as I never liked the sounds, I prefer to play in the helmet view and try manual gears which is solid to do but you get so much more out of the game. is there a video in the helmet view I can check?

Yes!!! Finaly we can see long lap penalty, grate and the fuel Better than last year, the sound are grate, the move of the rider are good, finaly we can see evry time the ranking and also the heat of the brakes, it looks nice and let's not forget the map on the bottom left, it really all looks beautiful

in replay mode would be nice if you would see an animation from the throttle or braking in a certain camera for example when u in the front wheel view. when you use the camera where u see the riders back it would be awesome to see the lean angle too

I think that's asking too much buddy. I mean developing the holeshot device that's specific to the bike could be really difficult. It's bike specific too, where the Ducati now lowers both the front and rear, whilst Suzuki only does the front. But never say never!

The audible rev limit needs to be raised on basically all the GP bikes bar the Honda. They rev out much higher than than irl

Is that a brake temperature meter I see there in the HUD? If yes then that's awesome. To feel the brake fade with higher temps and lower brake feedback at lower temps!!

Please can you add more variety of brand of pilot suits? It would also be quite good that like helmets, the community can create designs of boots and gloves. so the customization of the pilot would be more extensive

This looks amazing, you are doing an amazing work guys :) Just an observation, i think the rider's shadow is too spread out and blurry for the distance to the ground, or at least it should be sharper when closer to the ground and rounder when further. Thank you milestone

Long laps are super cool. but even in this game you will not be able to brake with the front?

Ducati bike sounds great.... slightly different to the 20 model. Long lap will be interesting.... hopefully the AI will know you're coming off the racing line. Loving the dynamic movement of the surroundings when dealing with the bike movement. Well done chaps.... can't wait to get stuck in :-)
