OxygenOS train has already left now it's ColorOS time, that's the harsh truth. We won't be getting back the stock OS until and unless Oppo's ColorOS becomes more stock-like.

Me as a follower and user since oneplus 1 I would never get another oneplus phone unless they change which would never happen.. What moto 30 ultra used to offer was what oneplus used to give by giving top of the spec and budget cost.

From Moto g to z play to edge. I have no comments except for the ppi is not 405 in the current lot.

I must say Motorola changed their approach towards customers. I'm using moto edge 20 fusion and they delivered what they promised. Noone can beat Motorola for software optimization with stock Android.

Yeah look like they are now seriously listening to users, coz the 256GB originally was not launching in India, they heard the user demanding the 256GB version and now are launching that. It's a good feeling when brands acknowledge what actually users want and act upon the same.

Last time i saw Ranjit sir most excited was in the review of Moto Edge 30. I bought it the next day and it couldn't have got anything better. Such a great experience 💯

The edge 30 series from motorola has covered major sectors of mid range, premium midrange and flagship smartphones. Yes they have improved a lot in camera and of course the optimization of the clean UI seems to be showing true colors in usage and battery life. I believe there is a good chance for their dominance for users with clean UI, better performance, worthy cameras. I am personally inclined towards the edge 30 fusion currently. Please just improvement on software updates and cameras are required and it's unbeatable.

Woah Moto has really seem have checked all the boxes with this one. I do know that almost all the mobiles have gotten rid of it but a 3.5Jack would have been a nice touch if they included for this one, nevertheless its a beast of a phone, my current phone isn't actually obsolete yet, may be ill wait for 40 Ultra

Forget flagship killer this is an actual flagship now. This comes with all flagship features like wireless charging and reverse wireless charging too. A proper IP rating is the only thing missing which I believe moto left out to keep the phone cost low and went with IP 52.

Been a Samsung flagship user for a decade now but it's been a while i have seen a smartphone that is real bang for the buck one can pay. Hope they just provide OS updates for at least 4 yrs. Moto has done a fantastic job with this phone but not only making the right flagship but also giving a boss level charger along with it. OEMs following Apple shinanigan by taking the charger out of the box reasoning Eco friendly will become history for sure. Thought the tpu case could be skipped.

@@taz4895 updates are important mainly for security purposes. Your old smartphones are more vulnerable to attacks that are already fixed in newer Android updates. The vulnerabilities keep on showing up on the software end and these vulnerabilities are fixed so that no one can exploit it and hack your phone or harm it in any other way possible on the software end.

really a strong phone from moto. I'm happy to be getting into moto family again after moto g5. kudos to moto your stepping into the right direction don't lose this momentum and keep this going. Honestly moto has the best smartphone experience right now. I have tried all brands from micromax to apple and moto is surely the best.

Only thing i wish if moto could provide software updates as other brands... There is no phone right now within 20-30k category except moto edge 30 but I'm ignoring that because of 4000 mah battery...phones screens getting bigger & bigger so i think 5000mah is minimum requirement....i don't understand Moto on one hand they're launching lots of phones on another nothing....moto should focus on 20-30k slab

With 3 Major updates and stock like experience, alongwith an awesome camera. This phone can easily stay with you for over 5-6 years. ₹52k seems like an investment this time. Kudos to Moto!

Motorola is such a Underrated Brand

Given that all the Moto phones that are being released have somewhat the same formfactor, does the edge series offer something different (in regard to the vibration)?

On the basic mid-range phones of Moto yes it generally vibrates a bit above 80% volume level as the back panel is plastic. That's generally not an issue with the more premium models of Moto phones.

Great to see such detailed reviews. Really good and insightful. I want to buy a phone with desktop mode, good camera (more interested in photos, dont do much of video recording). I have shortlisted Samsung Galaxy S22 plus and Motorola edge 30 Ultra. In your opinion, moto edge 30 ultra camera system, photos are comparable to Samsung S22 plus or would be comparable in future after software updates are released.

Using edge 30 ultra and finding everything you said is true. However, since many ota updates were already applied before i purchased this phone 2 weeks back. So there has been changes and improvement from the initial days. But, let me tell all this is my first flagship and i am not regretting buying it.

Finally a competent successor to the incredible Edge+ from a couple of years ago!! Still wish we could've got a 3.5mm HP jack & that waterfall screen!

Happy to see this from Motorola I am using moto G52 and one thing that I am noticing is that moto phone becouse of its light UI , its day-to-day usase with even not very powerful processor is excellent. Earlier I was using samsung m32 and one UI has been most stable and optimistised UI for last 2-3 years...but,using moto's clean UI, I have to say that it's UI and one UI are the best two UI.. and it depends one which one you will pick becouse in midrange I ,frankly, still think that samsung phones have better camera and its colour science.... Lastly,...I have seen Ranjit sir this much happy and excited for first time in last 2-3 years....so without any doubt Motorola has definitely launched overall best phone in this price range.
