I stopped buying Apple and Samsung when they took away the 3.5mm on their headphone jack, more $ for less functionality was never my jam. To be fair seems like most people either didn't care or are sheeple. Either way I'm hoping they make a comeback to.. I root for any phone with a 3.5mm jack lol.

U can't compare Samsung phones with moto phones Samsung offers 4 years of software update and its phones have higher display resolutions while moto phones only offer one years of software update and their phones still using LCD lame

Did you ever review the Lenovo Thinkphone ? It's been 399 on Amazon for a while and perhaps on the u.s. Moto website. Extremely durable cheap flagship device for the price.

I have non stop issues with my moto g 5g 2023 with KZread TV with regards to lag and freezing. Does this phone fix that performance wise?

Hi, Thank you so much for doing this video. My Moto G Power from 2020 is close to completely konking out on me for good, so I'm gonna need to upgrade fast. Quick question for you… My Moto G Power has a standard, wall charging block, but this one does not, and so without the charging block that some phones still come with, like mine, exactly how does one go about charging this phone? I don't understand. Could you take a moment to tell me how I would charge it up if it doesn't have a wall charger? Do I need to buy an attachment of some sort? If so, where and how much? Thank you for your time.

I have a 2022 moto g stylus and the reason I chose this over the power was because of the stylus 2 years later I realized I don't use the stylus. My opinion is, if you don't draw or paint just get the power.

This phone makes it a hard purchase when the thinkphone is 399 and the pixel 7 is 399, also the Nord n30 is 249. But I think the phone would be amazing if Motorola dropped the price to 250. I would buy this in a heartbeat. Becaucause of the extas like wireless charging, and ultrawide camera is great.

@@BendApparatus I have the previous gen 2023. It has the same CPU. The mediatek Dimensity 7020 is a rebranding of the mediatek Dimensity 930. The display is not that great when compared to the pixel, one plus Nord, or the thinkphone which is Motorola. The thinkphone has all the features and significantly more including the snapdragon 8 plus gen 1. Crazy performance both CPU and GPU. The Nord has about the same compute performance as the moto G with the SD 695. GPU might be slightly better than on the 7020? Not sure.. The pixel is about 2.5X the performance with better display and ipx 68 as well as the thinkphone. I'm not bashing the moto g power. But for 100$ you gain a lot going with some of the other brands listed. You lose wireless charging to the Nord, but the Nord has a way better display. And I am not a display snob. But the peak brightness is sunlight sucks on the moto. But I own it over the Nord. I like to wait for sales. I'm waiting to see what the Galaxy A35 brings to the table when it it officially released to the US market. The CPU on the A35 is about 30% faster with a flagship display and pretty good cameras and waterproofing. I am not a brand loyalist. But I like moto actions and overall value. I may get this phone. I have no reason to upgrade over my pixel 5 just yet.

@@unitcharles689 I have a pixel 6... it's crap...it runs like a toaster...and the battery life is for people that have better things to do than be on their phone all day... KZread (their own app) crashes all the time and if you somehow linked the fingerprint sensor to a game of Russian roulette... you'd lose 97% of the time...me personally...I miss my 2019 Moto Edge so much...🤷🏻‍♂️ Oh 1 more...the display brightness in full daylight is laughable...

I got this phone and i honestly love it. I have had it for 4 days and one thing i love is the battery life. I watch a lot of movies and play games on my phone and can play all day without the battery dying

If they stick with snapdragon chips and full hd screens everything would be fine! No reason they shouldn't have a minimum of the SD7 gen 1 chips

9:59 It is a rebranded Dimensity 930, so if you've played with the Moto G Power 5G from last year, you should have a rough idea of how it performs.

This looks like a great device except for that display. No amoled at $300 is not good in 2024 especially with the Samsung A15 5g having amoled at $100 less. You’d be better off buying the Motorola ThinkPhone for $399 that has pOled display and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. And it has that sweet fiber rugged type finish on the back with a 68W charger in the box.

Camera quality is hit or miss when comparing shots to my 2021 Moto Stylus 5G both indoor & outdoors, the Power has an issue with photos having low contrast with HDR enabled I think its something Moto could adjust with a software update. Other than this the Power has been solid, much brighter IPS display than my Stylus (also IPS) and the 8GB RAM helps a lot with keeping things running smooth especially when i have a podcast or stream running in the background while playing a game, my Stylus is a carrier model with only 4GB RAM. Thankfully the Power 2024 doesnt have a stripped down model so even carrier versions are 8GB / 128GB.

Love that the Moto G Power 5G (2024) kept the headphone jack! Plus, the Dimensity 7020 sounds like a nice upgrade. I think this one is a great one in term of the value for the money.

This phone is a great value for the price. You won't find a better battery life at this point. That dimensity chip is quite efficient.

On Metro it says their version has Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1/ 120hz

Why get this when the stylus 2023 is cheaper and about twice as fast performance wise! You get a full hd screen and a SD 6 gen 1 chip!

Im my opinion the G34, your US G 5G 2024 (with slightly different Snapdragon soc) is better than this one (G54 in Europe)... Better battery backup and better gaming due to the lower display resolution, and less pricey obviously

Motorola is not officially registered in my country... so there is no Motorola market here hahahhaha... except buying on Amazon/Alibaba and that is really troublesome and complicated here
