I personally like the curved display, especially when its not overdone, it makes the screen feel more open compared to a flat display like Apple are using, + edge lighting for notifications works when the phone is turned screen down makes it a bit more practical

I love the moto gestures such as the chop flashlight and the shake camera. And the back and navigation gestures that you could use on the home button.

I bought this phone about 5 months ago. I'm very happy with it. I just keep the auto rotate turned off unless I want it for something. It's very fast, the camera takes beautiful pictures, but my favorite aspect are the stereo speakers. They sound fantastic. It will be hard to get another phone after this knowing the speakers probably will not be this good. So I'm sure I will have this phone for quite a while.

Actually right after the effect is off, the frame is kinda blurred/not sharp. You can pause and see it, then it gets back to normal sharpness.

Droid X was my 1st smartphone back in 2010....loved that thing...i followed it with the droid razr....motorolla was great I remember setting my phone up to send a text message to my mom and dad a text that I'm home as soon as my phone connects to the wifi......they had plenty of great stuff

Top right next to the camera for me (7 Plus), the worst for me was LG due to the texture, but Nokia's .2 line should not have had it on the front, e.g. 7.2, if you have that little bezel.

My first phone was the LG G3 on Verizon. I liked that phone, but they had a big ass Verizon logo right up top near the ear piece. I have never seen a more hideous example of carrier branding in my life.

@DerpyDoge Yeh but we have a display. Brand it on the software and the back like everyone else. It's okay to move forward.

I use my oppo find x2 pro now for a year and i never had a accidental touch because of the curved display ever. I love curved displays. I would have gone for the vivo nex 3 if it had more then a 60hz display.

I've previously had moto x and 2 moto x pures which i've loved. regarding the curved glass.. how does that work out if you put a case on it? does it sit above it or do you lose the effect? can you still use the edge buttons? never heard of the phone you were comparing it to at the end. Could it be the reason the lenses stick out is to accommodate a case? So they'd be flush then?

I have a curved screen phone and and the screen extends out deeper than the case meaning the screen is always exposed

@DerpyDoge That's not the issue tho, I'm not fussed about audio quality personally but the fact that you need to charge them and that smartphone companies have made an issue for no reason is annoying, and thats why I can't get used to them.

@GenericGamer no.227 Apart from all the unproven security issues, Huawei hardwares are amazing. As someone who frequently drops his phones I can say Huawei devices can endure much more than phones of most other companies. P30 Pro even has google services. If you're not concerned with china spying on your tiktok videos or facebook posts, there is really nothing to worry about.

Bro that series is done. I was gonna get the z4 like 8 mo thso ago. But its discontinued. Still available on Internet. I ended up getting a blackberry key2. Great phone. Then they discontinued that series as well....

I love the edge screen, as long as I get a good screen protector for it. Love the Samsung Note series.
