I love Vince, but seeing that he has often sucked live, I'm impressed at how he nails it here, especially in 2000. Must be one of Mötley's hardest songs to sing... And he doesn't skip more than a few words and is on key everywhere here, including on a freakin' F5. Wow.

Vince Never sucked live at least hardly ever he is bad ass here in 2000 but try to let your brain construct the memories of back in the day. Vince was rock and roll he was Incredible beyond anything else fucking awesome.

Vince was great here. Without Mars, song would suck. He was the heart of the band.

People give Vince no credit nowdays that he held up vocally from 1982 til around the Carnival of Sins tour in 2006 or so. Thats a long time to live that life and even stay alive much less sing those notes. Longer than half his peers like Pearcy of Ratt or Don Dokken, even though Pearcy kept his good looks and sounds a little better now. Its a tough genre to age with as a vocalist but give credit where its due.

Vince still has the voice, it's still loud and clear. That's not really the issue, rather...why does he skip and slur so many words? It often doesn't even sound English. That's what gets people annoyed. I can't blame it on his weight, since there are fat singers who sing well. So It's hard to figure out what happened with him. It mainly started in 1997 as far as I can tell, through watching all the bootleg footage I have.

@@MetalMaster101he doesn’t have the range or breath for that anymore. Also you can tell that his vocals are shot, it’s part of the reason he miss pronounces and skips words. Because he can’t hit them anymore. Look at don dokken. Same thing.

I saw this tour with Megadeth and Anthrax in San Antonio. Venue seated about 5,000. Maybe 2,000 in attendance. I could not believe how weak the crowd was that night. No interest. Anthrax was eventually kicked off this tour due to a lack of ticket sales.

Back even before the 80's through to today, it's always been about 🖕 LAPD for us So Cals. This has always been my favorite Crue song. The following verse in particular with the complete angst many of us felt/feel... Well a star-spangled fight I heard a steel-belted scream Oh I'm black I'm black I'm black Another sidewalk's bloody dream I heard the sirens whine My blood turned to freeze You'll see the red in my eyes You're gonna take my disease

I cant imagine two genius alpha mastermind egoes like Sixx and Mustaine actually hanging out...one represents macho speed metal the other is more glam/sex symbol but both equally talented songwriters. Daves got the tricky fingers though.

They probably did, don’t know to which extent but they’ve definitely shared the stage before. They have too many similarities at the same time, i including facing an untimely death from a heroin addiction. Both had their fair share of groupies aswell. I’m surprised they didn’t have more beef besides the “glam vs thrash” thing of the 80s.
