I was there brother, and there is no other like it today you are correct. But it was hot in the day there and cold at night. The drugs and alcohol kept us alive in between people breaking the water cannons. But this concert is something I will never forget in my lifetime. Its was a much easier time compared to today.

Compared to what he’s put his body through and after all how many others singers can say that they have been performing as long as Motley Crüe and literally hitting all those notes like they did 30 years ago as Vince’s voice was his instrument the others played their’s! There is a big difference guys and no artist honestly sounds the same 20 or 30 years later as most peoples voices change with age just like rock stars? Just great these guys were able to entertain us longer than most others bands have for as long as they did.

"Out go the lights, in goes my knife, pull out his life, consider that bastard dead!" Gave pat Robertson heart palpitations brother...I miss going to your friends house, you're all waiting on a bag o weed, playing the waiting game, put on the new crue, or new metallica album, I never would've believed rock n roll could ever die, but its all living in the past now, once our generation passes away, it'll fuckin be gone forever...who would've ever , in a million fuckin years thought...,...........

I always tell friends that I wish I was born a few years earlier. The pre-internet/cellphone world was so much better than this toilet era. Sorry, but technology can't recreate the sex, drugs & rock n' roll animalism of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Life was simple, sometimes raw, fun, and politically incorrect. LOVED IT! ♥ \m/

They were still new at this time. Neil has a kick ass voice, but I think some of the time in those early years, he was totally wasted and forgot the words to the song, etc. I think everyone would agree that you aren't going to sing at your fullest potential when you are drunk! LOVE THE Crue!!
