The part about not being able to control grades but being able to control how you feel is really true. I’m an absolute tool in math (i’ve got dyscalculia) and have had 0’s my whole life (like actual 0% on tests like not a single answer was right, really I’m a tool) I worked very, very, very hard on maths for the equivalent of GCSEs in my country. I would focus on maths for like 4 hours a day for 2 months. And guess what ? On result’s day, I got a 45%. Not even a passing grade, most people would have cried if they had that grade after so much work, but when I saw that result, I never felt so happy, relieved, and proud of myself. I know I worked the hardest I could and I knew this was a big achievement for me. You should be proud of the work you put in, not your grade.

Wow I needed that bit about opening the envelope. I remember opening my GCSE results envelope and I just cried because of how happy I was. It was honestly the best feeling ever. I definitely want to feel that again for my AS Level results!!

I moved rooms (ie from bedroom to office) if you can move the room you work in I find I do better. Set a plan for what specifically to revise and get into it. For me maths ill need a paper. English I need the books and some revision cards and so on, if I put my stuff ready then when I get round to revising I will carry on until im done. I know how you feel I wanted to start revision in january and started last week, scary times. Good luck to all of you

Awww, guys. You deserve the world! You and Folkert just literally woken up some kind of a motivation in me, and well said Folkert, if you really want to feel good while revealing your exam grades, then the only thing that you should do right now is work hard and smart. Thank u guys, and omg, love these motivational Mondays soooo much! I find them so useful, especially when the depression comes in and I feel scared of my upcoming a level exams these videos kinda help me to get back into working mode, but with a bit of more positivity and motivation I guess. Anyways, Folkert, I wish you luck in your GCSE exams! And thank u Jade for blessing my KZread feed, cause u’re the only KZreadR who’s videos i find quite informative and inspiring. You’re so amazing, honestly you’re like my close friend, because whenever I feel moody I go straight into KZread type in the naming of your gorgeous channel and then just cheer myself up, because you’re the one who I look up to, and you always have useful tips and advises for people studying their GCSEs and A levels and I really really hope that one day I’ll meet you, and tell you how amazing and outstanding you are!

The bit about opening my results was how I motivated myself to study for my IGCSES! (Finished it last year may/june) and getting the results I wanted was the best feeling in the world. Whenever I felt demotivated I used to always put on Jade’s study with me so I’d guilt trip myself into being productive 😂 IT WORKED THO! love you jade x ❤️
