    That first shot was awesome. Ball looked like it wasn’t coming back then the surface of the ball hit that dry friction which caused it to automatically go straight to the pocket 👍🏾😀

    I like that motion . I have only thrown the venom shock, venom panic , venom cobra, jackal ghost,alpha jackal, the blue octane, tank rampage. I am thinking about getting either the rip cord launch or the new grey tank .

    You normally review balls on typical league patterns around 42 feet. Why would you review this Motiv ball on a 35 foot pattern?

    Maybe because the ball is too weak for a house pattern…..

    You get more information from a sport pattern anyway. House patterns brings balls too close together.

    It’s comes out of box at 5500 and it’s not a strong pearl either so in order to really maximize the performance of it u probably need a short pattern or very beat up house shot

    I realize that today when I use mine in League compared to my jackal ghost, and I realized with the oil pattern the way it was it would go past my mark every single time I had to put it back in the bag and stay with my jackal ghost

    My question is what would happen if I hit it with a 5,000 pad and not hit it with polish? I have a Forza and I like that it has the 5,000 cover and no polish, makes it repeatable when resurfacing.

    Auto-Focus and Auto-Exposure both on and messing up the video. Rip Cord looked ok on this pattern. More interested in Zen U on this pattern vs Purple.

    I just ordered one of these from bowlerx in 16 lbs . would the pin down be good for the house shot or league play? Only ball I have that's pin down is my Golden Jackal ,and its hook stoppy as well

    Depends what you’re trying to accomplish. Pin down is good for smoothing out the balls response time

    Dude.. I have been a big fan of your reviews for a while now. I think they are some of the best out there, but you always do this with Motiv equipment. I dont really see you change drilling, oil patterns, and such with other ball companies. Why do you do it with Motiv? You certainly don't do this kind of stuff with Storm products. I was really looking forward to this ball review and this didn't show me shit. Yay showing a ball is hook stop on a short flat pattern... You missed the mark on this one dude. Missed it bad

    Because he doesn't match up well with Motiv balls, which he said at the beginning. Tournament bowlers also don't usually bowl on house shots either but I get what you're saying

    @@PanthersAdvice thanks. so I interpret that as it loses too much energy during the roll phase to split the 8-9? Or does this mean that it does not hook early enough which is causing the deflection?

  • @PanthersAdvice

    @PanthersAdvice

    Жыл бұрын

    @@kg3769 losing too much energy, therefore it causes it to hook stop and deflect off the head and leave the 2 pin. This is happening because he drilled it pin down, which usually means not as dramatic off the dry and it’s a short oil pattern too. He’s just showing you that this ball can play the short oil, but if you get to far out… It’s going to be hard to make it comeback with out really hooking that ball.

    It's like you wanted this ball to look bad in the review. Short pattern and throwing it all over the place, then saying the ball is hook-stopping? Give it a fair shake man.
