What a great and moving video. I completely agree with your sentiment. My mother and father were both only children and came from completely opposite social class. Somehow they occupied the difficult spaces in their background. My mother was born during the war and spent her childhood in the kind of poverty in Britain that is reserved to history books. She left a chaotic and alcoholic home at 16 with nothing and made something of her life. I was in my 20's when I realised that both my imperfect parents were only human with even more emotional baggage than I had. They did their best. My mother is still alive and I bless every day I have her.
