Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video is part of my "Cards from the Kitchen" series, where I use unlikely products from the kitchen to create awesome cards!
I'll use Distress Embossing Glazes and an Altenew 3D embossing folder to produce some beautiful handmade cards.

These are really cool, can't believe you got this with just foil and embossing powders. Thanks for the tutorial, I love crafting with stuff around the house, I don't worry I'm going to "ruin" my project when I'm using inexpensive materials.

^Katia, you always surprise me! A wonderful idea, using tinfoil....and the color combination, great. Your last papers (oasis) are WONDERFUL too. I loved the way you mixed the desert backgrounds with other elements. Great job you have done. Were would I be if I hadn't learned so much from you. My crafty queen from BC !!! Love and hugs from Berlin

I have to admit I was wondering how this would turn out but my gosh they are absolutely gorgeous!!! Also a very good reason to 'indulge' in more of TH translucent embossing powders! I only have a couple right now.

I love this type of art I've always wanted to learn about embossing but doing what you're doing with it is awesome I just wondered when you dried it was that a heat gun or was it like a hair dryer that blows air....

That is lovely! I really want to try this but I don't have any of the glazed embossing powder. Does regular embossing powder work? Would alcohol ink markers work on tin foil? I was thinking about versamark and swiping it over the foil then clear embossing because I know you can use alcohol markers on embossed areas. Then using an embossing pen to get the detail areas. Getting it embossed must add a 3-d effect. But now I'm thinking using alcohol markers might flatten the 3-d effect unless you are very careful. What are your thoughts on doing this technique without glazes?

Cool card! Any suggestions on what else you could use if you don't have the embossing glaze to do this technique? Thanks for sharing. No worries about your fingers, they are the hands of an artist. Take care young lady and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas

Hi Becky! You could definitely do this technique with a couple different colors of embossing powder or perfect pearls. Just be sure to set the perfect pearls if you go that route! Sending you hugs!

@Lunar Sun Creations how do you set perfect pearls on tin foil?

The foil is not made out of tin. It is aluminum foil.

I do know that it's not made out of tin. I think it's a Canadian thing. It's like people in other countries calling a cookie, a bisquit.

@@LunarSunCreations You buy aluminum foil at a grocery store. You buy tin foil at a hardware store.
