Ooooh! I remember learning about this deck being in progress around the time his oracle came out, the few images posted creeped me out! Seeing the completed work it's still creepy, but the images are soooooo beautiful! I have Matt Hughes' other decks so his art pulls me in but some of the characters.... My favourites are Mother Mort, the siren and the Amazing Sluagh! Would've like more cards but that's just me. And I wonder, is US Games going to continue the start of what to me is the start of a trend of publishing one "premium/indie -like level" deck? Last year was Fyodor and now we have Mother Mort's... the box, story book, the beautiful green edges... I won't be mad if US Games will publish extra fancy decks like that once a year!

This deck is giving creepy carnival of curiosities vibes, and it's very Victorian in nature. This one is a little too dark and spooky for me (I'm a sensitive person), but it's a cool concept for a deck, and the art is so cool, but creepy at the same time. I am so with you with the creepy clowns being a no thank you. Super interesting that they decided to use Carl Sheele, who invented Sheeles Green, which is also known as Paris Green a chemical green dye that contained arsenic. Sheeles green was popular in Victorian times and was widely used to die wallpaper, clothing, paint, fabric, curtains and furniture, so people where literally breathing in arsenic and poinsing themselves unknowingly, this is the reason that Victorian women would often faint. This deck man, it's super creepy, like I said this deck isn't for me, but it's pretty cool

I actually love this deck ♥️ I don’t know how I would use it on my clients, but I would definitely use it for myself. I wouldn’t want to freak my clients out to much lol my use it for Halloween though. It’s definitely a deck I would love to dive deeper into! 👍🏾⭐️

Does this look amazing and like something I want? YUP. Do I know what I'd use it for/how I'd use it? NOPE.

The initial marketing by US Games had me really questioning this deck. It gave off some really inappropriate vibes from that marketing. Hearing the actual point of the deck, the good people get good outcomes and the bad people get their just rewards makes me feel a little better about it. I'm still on the fence. I know a lot of people love linen, but the texture of it actually irritates me so much. It shuffles like a dream, but it looks blurry and pixelated to me. I'm also frustrated that there's only 32 cards. Even 36 cards feels like too few. I personally feel that 44 cards should be the bare minimum for an Oracle deck, and I prefer more. I'm on the fence with the theme too. SO creepy... I'm thinking I'll consider it again around Halloween time. Maybe that will be a better time for me to consider it.

As an update, I ended up getting the deck. It's INCREDIBLY creepy, would be good for Horror fans definitely. I read the story book that came with it and enjoyed that. I'm still disappointed that there's so few cards. I do think I will enjoy it around Halloween season. My first few introductory readings were on point, so that bodes well.

This deck is interesting. Question for all what tarot deck would pair well with it?

Just for fun and I don't really know if it would work, and also because it's the same artist I'd try any of Matt Hughes's other decks. Maybe another deck with spooky vibes like deviant moon? Or a deck more abstract or minimalist like Fortuna tarot...
