Yeah. The title sounded like she decided to kill the baby and when the cops got there she could say it was accident… “Kids, officer, you know how they are ! Turn your back for a minute……”

So it was a cameraman who put a dragonfly into that baby's mouth? 🤔 WTH? The bird parents are heroes, they saved their baby!

Both parents are at the nest and they are identical, there is no way to identify mum from dad, so please refrain from crediting mum with everything that happens. Both parents feed and share responsibility in maintaining the nest.

Chick finally freed itself, no? These birds act on instinct, so both were flummoxed for a bit. Feeding mistakes are common. Actual thinking is being a bit charitable.

Most parent birds pick and prep the food into the baby’s mouths…. I know because parents have natural survival instincts to eat, and in turn are smart enough to know what to feed their young. This just isn’t right💔
