I love how excited the kids are, and what a way to experience these majestic animals cheers for the vid.

They're hungry. 4 cubs require that mom gets plenty to eat to nurse them, and foraging as much as possible for all of them. She needs lots of water, too. Beautiful to see this black bear family!💕🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻💕

Tremendous! I usually can’t stand to hear chatter when people are videotaping something really cool, but the excitement and joy here is so natural and spontaneous that it affected me the same way. The cubs were especially darling!

I find this is the best way for people to watch wild animals: no zoo, no cage, people in the house, and animals visit us freely and peacefully

I just love these bear videos.

That was the best bear close up ever. In the 1960's, we went to Yellowstone and my brother would hang bacon on a stick outside the car window so they'd follow. That would be a huge fine today. Thanks for sharing. Gatlinburg is a beautiful place.

Bears are extremely smart and know how to reason and problem solve. They can open garage doors pushing them up, they grab ladders spread them apart and set them up and then climb them. They know how to stack up boxes for the sole intention of climbing to reach something, they can position a chair to where they want it so to stand to reach up. I saw a cub grab a foot that was turned over. He uprighted it, positioned it then stood on it to reach for something he couldn't reach.

Wow! It is valuable to be able to take pictures of natural bears so close. A cute little bear seems to say "Hello" to human children.

Don’t be shy let them in, it’s raining outside

I would totally have them in for a bowl of porridge.

I Luv'd it All!!!...but the awe and delight of the comments in the children's voices...made my day...

Black bears are usually very timid around ppl unless threatened. You can shew them away pretty easily. However, Grizzlies are a different story.

My wife is from the Sichuan Province in China, where there are wild pandas. The first time she saw an American black bear raid our trash she told me "US bear too big and look mean." Pandas are not a large bear and do not look mean. We were down around Helen, GA.

This is a common everyday occurrence up here small town BC Canada. I was once sitting on my deck, and a big black bear sauntered into my yard, walked right alongside my deck (maybe 5' from me), and walked out the back of the yard! Nice!!!

I came up to NC to see my BF. I heard something on the back porch outside our bedroom & we had the back door open a little bit. Heck, we were on the second floor with no stairs coming up to the deck from the outside. My BF says, don’t worry about it, it’s just a bear in the feeders. I immediately got up & shut the door. Apparently, it was a regular occurrence that the bears would climb up & walk around the back deck & he would just sleep through it. This nut slept with a screen door between him & the bears.

I like your porch. Such a lovely view of the surrounding wilderness. Ah, what a sight to see.

Yeah, Grizzlies don’t mess around. Black bears, like in this video, are usually shy around people and can be scared off without much effort. A grizzly will stand his ground if you try to do that.

Watch the Bear Whisperer on You Tube. Bears will break in and they do alot of destruction. Very smart at getting in and opening everything. I love black bears but never tell your children they are friendly. You were blessed. Rare to see 4 cubs. Usually 1-3 max
