Not in my opinion. I found myself enjoying the game a lot of times. In my opinion it needs : - bug fixing ( bet you didn't see that one coming ) - control tweaking ( less touchy and less unfun-to-use-sometimes kinda controls ) - level design fixing ( it can be so unfair sometimes, but also pretty nice sometimes. It just needs more attention) - art style change ( Im so used to it I kinda like it, but most people aren't, so yeah ) - story fixing ( not a reworking, just fixing some plot holes and stuff, I like how silly the base of the story is ) - cutscenes ( I don't need to say anything ) And that's basically it 🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s no reason to remake a smash bros game when they can just make a new one. Honestly melee was a great game but Wii U plays much better. Last time i played melee I honestly couldn’t do anything because controls aren’t as fluid or responsive.

rootbeer543 whattttt dude melee is way more precise, especially now with UCF (Universal Controller Fix) that fixes factory flaws in all gamecube controllers. The analogs can be really wonky so dashbacks, Pivots, Shield Drops, Fox/Falco angles and getting ledge dashes can be brutally hard because nintendo sucks at making analog sticks. Melee is like the penultimate game for smooth controls.

colin3ds My reg s8 can last 6+ hours on full charge on almost any emulator except dolphin. Plus you can use any controller you want as long as you have an adapter. Obviously I understand it's would just be more convenient on the switch. I was just suggesting a work around.

colin3ds it's Samsung's Flagship phone so of course it's going to have a super good battery. I can use it all day watching videos and streaming and it won't go below 50 percent battery. On power saving mode a whole day of use goes down to 70 percent. My plan is 600 dollars paid over 2 years with Verizon.

Melee HD just doesn't feel right to me. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see smash as a series of different unique games as I see Mario or Zelda. I see smash as a series of updates, each game adding to the last, so seeing melee HD seems like a backstep, also considering how hard sakurai is trying to appease the melee fans with this latest game.

NitroBoost Films L-Canceling- not a glitch, Shield dropping - not a glitch, these are core mechanics of competitive play, advanced tech. Sure wavedashing could be considered a glitch, but it is a mechanic Sakurai and the developement team decided to leave in. In brawl they removed it since they thought that these advanced techniques were creating too big of a gap between casual and more competitive players.

B-b-but nintendo is only a multibillion dollar company! You should be grateful for their products! I love nintendo as much as the next guy, but 3d all stars is a sad package thats trying to use fomo to make quick profit. It couldve been a massive celebratory anniversary collection like kirbys dream collection with a collection of one of the most beloved games with supreme emulation, but small company nintendo was only able to hastily slap together 3 games with as little effort as possible, not even including or mentioning galaxy 2, all for 60 bucks and a limited run.

A remake of Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. Fix the bugs and glitches, make it in the Reignited style, and actually finish the game by including the levels, worlds and dragonflies the original was planned to have. The game had potential, and I want to see that potential be used how it was intended

Have you watched the documentary about the making of EtD? The devs got HOSED by Universal and that is largely why it is what it is today. After watching it, I replayed the game and had a newfound appreciation for it.

Honestly the Wind Waker HD is what introduced me to Zelda. I didn’t really have any interest in the franchise before it. I owned some of the games, but I didn’t really play any of them. And then I saw Wind Waker HD, compared it to the original, and then I brought it immediately and I loved it! It’s beautiful! The colours, the bloom, the models! I love it so much.

I got the game cuz it was the bundle for my Wii U having only slight idea of the series. Now I've played almost all of the games and Zelda's my favourite game series.

The 3DS ports of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask kept bugs/glitches that weren't detrimental to gameplay since the dev team thought people would miss the fun ones. It's possible they'd leave it alone, unless Sakurai opted not to.

That was just marketing speak, they removed loads of good glitches but players still found ways to recreate most of them.

@@treysovie7181 It's not false. I've done many of them myself. Or, if you don't trust me, ask BenStephens. He holds the world record for OoT 3D, I'm sure he could confirm. Nintendo always twist things to make themselves look good, it's corporate marketing 101. As for Smash, the Smash 4 scene is still going. The only reason numbers are dropping off now is because the release of Ultimate is around the corner. Have a look at all of the Smash 4 channels & footage though, some of it is pretty competitive and that's without recourse to exploits & glitches like in Melee. Apart from stunlocks, it's pretty solid. I suspect the Smash 4 community won't be going away as soon as you think...but I suppose it all depends on how Ultimate is received.

I've always wanted an HD remake of Gods, it was one of my dad's all time favorites, and with Insaniquarium, it was one of the first games I played on PC. So glad they made it, I didn't think it would've been a popular choice.

SEGA tried Nights on the Wii, and it bombed, but I think it was mostly do to the poor control setups, so yeah I would not mind Nights coming back on the 2DS/3DS, Switch, and PC with proper control setups as a series of games.

Daniel DeLucio You are right I totally forgot about Nights on STEAM, as I just checked my STEAM library, and I have it. I must have bought it super cheap during a STEAM sale with a few other games, because I don't ever recall playing it on PC, and I was not aware it was on PS3, and Xbox 360 to be honest since I don't own those consoles.

If there's one first-party series for a Sega console that needs to have remakes, it's Streets of Rage for me.

What would a remake of melee even entail though? A graphics update? I mean, even if Sakurai decided he liked Melee all of a sudden, 95% of the tech in that game that makes it "competitive" are just glitches. You couldn't patch them out, because then you'd just have an inferior Smash 5, so the team would have the painstaking job of intentionally coding glitches into the game, which would just be a nightmare.

@@logankemp4467 What do you mean there isn't glitches? Wavedash? glitch. l-cancelling? glitch. half the tech in the game? glitch. They could try making an official mode for Ultimate with a focus on more hitstun, less knockback, and faster attacks to simulate some of that Melee intensity, but ever truly re-creating Melee would be very difficult.

I'd love to see an updated Legend Of Zelda from Nintendo. Having recently re-played it a bit it just doesn't really hold up well. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a classic that needs to be updated to HD. It probably won't happen as long as Bethesda churns out Skyrim for the 89th time this week, but it'd be a pleasant surprise

Joseph Kleen Uhhhhh Oblivion was in HD the day it released in 2006 lmao. Go buy an Xbox One X, Oblivion runs in 4k resolution there and it looks stunning. I played through it in 4k this past summer, I was shocked at how good that game looked.

@@appleipodtouch2g umm I don't think oblivion was on xbox one. It was ps3 and x360. Even pewdiepie's oblivion joke stream actually shows what it looks like at highest resolution (because he has a high end pc) and it doesn't blow me away.

Quite honestly I don't think a shift from 720p to 4k is the problem because skyrim still looks better in 360p in the remaster than the original in 720p. Dark Souls also hardly feels graphically dated and it's remaster did nothing but basic touch ups and in the switch's case it hardly did anything at all and I still find it looks more pleasing than forza or need for speed. Mainly because they have nonsense lighting that makes it excessively bright without a correct style to fit it in any way. Dark Souls on the other hand doesn't blind me every time I look at it and it has a nice and diverse color palette while staying on the "end me" tone

How about the Wii collection? Wii Sports, Wii Fit (with adjustments), Wii Party, Wii Play, Wii Party U, bits of Nintendo Land, and even Wii Music. All taking place on the Wuhu Island map.

Here at Mario's 35th anniversary, I want Super Mario 3D All Stars HD because the collection still has the graphics of the old games.

I'd like to see a remade Mother trilogy. There are so many people in the states that haven't got to experience these games.
