Personally I think the Rollo has gotten too much undeserved attention. I started playing at 13, 4 years ago, and I bought a Pearl from Lat64. Bought one to my lil' bro too, and that is the best beginner disc for children. It feels better than the Rollo too! (and now after you've read this, you're welcome to roast my opinion)

Soda has been my go to for medium distance turnover shots since November.

Just got my wild honey today I average about 320ft and within 5 throws my distance was 355ft I don’t have a lot of arm speed obviously and have only been playing for 8 months but was very surprised when the wraith and other speeds alike were too beefy but a brand new honey was hyper flipping with a beautiful flight loving it so far! Surprised I could even hyzer flip it

I think you severely over estimate what beginners are capable of. I typically pass beginners an Uplink as their first disc. I dont even pass them anything above a mid unless they are capable of turning the Uplink over. Sometimes, that isnt even enough. Thats when I pull out the Paradox. If Mids arent working, I switch to putters. The Innova Mirage is my last ditch effort to help. The best beginner driver is a Latitude 64 Diamond. Super understable and easy to flip. If thats flipping to much for them, I pass them the DGA Vortex. If they can handle that, Id probably pass them my Crave. I find Craves to be a pinch flippier than my Star Leapord. But, I've yet to get past the Vortex for beginners.

The most underrated beginner disc is the Lucid Air Maverick.

For slower arm speeds, the Clash Vanilla is absolute money. Most underrated mid is definitely the Echo

I find the Tessla is underrated... but not when you throw it "normally".. it's fairly corduroy thrown norm... But thrown flat forehand by someone that doesn't throw forehand... and it goes straight... then .. as if it had forgotten that it was supposed to fade... it throws out a Michael Keatons Batman Grapple and cranks a hard right hand (explained the Vicar to the Nun) and throws in a victory skip to boot... ...but better yet... Thrown hard overhead at 1pm (angle not time of day... tho I think i DID at about that time today...... uhh sorry , where was I... Oh yes.. in my seat in the lounge... I digress) Anyhooze... Thrown overhead at 1pm it keeps the angle for a good distance, to hit the ground running, and continue on straight... and the result of todays non game shot... According to Uncle Google (maps) and the right click 'Measure Distance' feature... I birdies a 286ft basket with a 265ft roller across a flat field, and a 30ft putt. (Course we all know if it was an in-game roller, it would have cracked out that grapple hook and gone 60ft sideways into the blackberry.) Oh and that overhead shot is brilliant when on the wrong side of a bush where the only shot is a 90deg wasted throw just to get you out of a hole... you can sail it over large objects at that ~15deg angle and have it keep the angle when it hits the ground to roll on to.. well ok it's probably not gonna sit at the basket... but again, just try it with a non game shot and impress your friends with your sexual prowess. (Did I mention I'm still single).

fr tho. L64 especially has some amazing molds/plastic. Grace, Fuse, Pure, Explorer, whats not to like? the judge shade in the beginning had me rolling my eyes as well

Midrange discs overall are overrated. Any am2+ can throw a putter better than they can a mid. I carry 1-2 with me for niche shots but after years of it being in my bag, it only gets thrown during warmuos
