That is because in north korea they never talk about that and if you tell a person that never heard about suicide to suicide to end his problem he is probably going to laugh at you. instead they always heard about how great their country is so i really expected NK to be lower in that list

I really dont know about that one, because South Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world. Even Kids think regularly about suicide, because of schoolstress... And it doesn't stop there, the k-pop community is the most toxic community ever and k-pop it self has a huge problem with absurd ideal of beauty and suicides... so I don't think this is the most undepressing country.

As a country , South Korea is a really peaceful and un- depressing country for many adults and children but for teens not at all. Korea as an Asian country is really strict with their studies, making many students most probably teenagers become depressed. I do get the point that Korea is 1 of the smartest countries in the world but such a depression like a 8 hour examination which the country believes your life depends on is totally an unnecessary and unsustainable burden on teens . Also school hours , a school schedule of 6-7 hours is well enough for students our age but 9-10 hours is simply an educational jail. I may be biased but teen age is a beautiful time period in many peoples lives but showing them nothing but books and encouraging them to only score marks discourages them and sets them for the wrong path in life, any parents reading this please don't force your kid/teen to always score good marks it will not even count 2% in their career

I really dont know about that one, because South Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world. Even Kids think regularly about suicide, because of schoolstress... And it doesn't stop there, the k-pop community is the most toxic community ever and k-pop it self has a huge problem with absurd ideal of beauty and suicides... so I don't think this is the most undepressing country.

Working hard is something. And stressing the fuck out of you is something entirely else. If you are being stressed out by what you doing you should at least lower how much hours you give your time to it. Believe me stressing and studying 24/7 wont get you anywhere
My friend is from South Korea and I think she is the happiest, friendliest, and kindest person I know. I finally know why.

When I was grade 3 .My class teacher did went to South Korea
As a country , South Korea is a really peaceful and un- depressing country for many adults and children but for teens not at all. Korea as an Asian country is really strict with their studies, making many students most probably teenagers become depressed. I do get the point that Korea is 1 of the smartest countries in the world but such a depression like a 8 hour examination which the country believes your life depends on is totally an unnecessary and unsustainable burden on teens . Also school hours , a school schedule of 6-7 hours is well enough for students our age but 9-10 hours is simply an educational jail. I may be biased but teen age is a beautiful time period in many peoples lives but showing them nothing but books and encouraging them to only score marks discourages them and sets them for the wrong path in life, any parents reading this please don't force your kid/teen to always score good marks it will not even count 2% in their career
