I Went to Hiroshima in Japan and I Was Shocked
I cried in both cities. And I think you would have too.
Everyone is talking about Oppenheimer and The Atomic Bomb. But people are not talking about the only two cities in the world that went through a Nuclear disaster. Well, this is their story.

As a Japanese, I appreciate you to make this video. We all learn in schools how terrible atomic bombs were and how wrong wars are, but not Americans were/are. What we want and pray for is just peace, and hating someone will never make the world any better.

I am Japanese and a victim of the 311 Great East Japan Earthquake. I was still young at the time, so my memories are hazy, but I strongly remember the fear, pain, and the sadness of having my house washed away by the tsunami and losing my beloved dog. What I remember most of all is the American soldiers who came to the disaster area to help. They were kind and big, and seemed more reliable than any hero. Thank you for helping me back then. No matter what happened in past history, for me, the images of those soldiers I saw when I was a child are the image of America.

@indrabora8575 . . . You clearly don't understand about Japan or its history. Today, Japan is a wonderful country, but it was not always that way. Let me set the record straight: On December 7, 1941 Japan bombed Pearl Harbor WITHOUT PROVOCATION. Maybe you forgot the unspeakable horrors committed by Japanese soldiers, the killings, beheadings, the desecration of women, especially the Korean Comfort Women, and the Japanese invasion of Burma and China, atrocities beyond the pale of humanity, with no concern for decency, for human life, all done with undying devotion to their Emperor God, Hirohito. And maybe you also forgot that after WW II ended, the Americans gave aid to Japan and that because the Americans forgave the atrocities committed by the Japanese, Japan quickly recovered and built their country into a better place than it was under the reign of Hirohito. We Americans who lived through those days forgave the Japanese, but we will NOT forget. Soon, we will all be gone and nobody will remember and the distortions in videos like this one will be all that is left.

This was an historically ignorant commentary. It failed to acknowledge the dropping of the atomic bombs were the result of Japan waging war throughout Asia and the Pacific for the previous 4 years at tremendous cost of military and civilian life, led by a fanatical leadership that saw surrender as an unbearable disgrace. It was estimated by the the Americans that to bring about ending the war would cost upwards of half a million American servicemen's lives and millions of Japanese. As terrible as the bombs were they prevented carnage of that scale by ending the war.

India is the only country with such a diverse in culture, religion and language. Hope you are aware of our current President and Previous President. You have a poor knowledge, India is 4th largest economy and very soon it will be 3rd, leaving behind Japan@@riangrarantean1065

And also it's brilliant culture, their brains are one of a kind. Just how they managed to revamp these 2 cities amid 2 atom Bombs and War sanctions , it's crazy

Forgive for what? They have no right to forgive anyone for things they committed in the past. It is thanks to the US that Japan is where it is now.

@@Ash-rx5wl . . . Obviously you don't understand. There no "War santions". Nas distorts history. Let me set the record straight: On December 7, 1941 Japan bombed Pearl Harbor WITHOUT PROVOCATION. Unspeakable horrors were committed by Japanese soldiers, the killings, beheadings, the desecration of women, especially the Korean Comfort Women, and the Japanese invasion of Burma and China, atrocities beyond the pale of humanity, with no concern for decency, for human life, all done with undying devotion to their Emperor God, Hirohito. After WW II ended, the Americans gave aid to Japan and that because the Americans forgave the atrocities committed by the Japanese, Japan quickly recovered and with Americas' help built their country into a better place than it was under the reign of Hirohito. We Americans who lived through those days forgave the Japanese, but we will NOT forget. Soon, we will all be gone and nobody will remember and the distortions in videos like this one will be all that is left.
U make me cry 😭 but thank you for this wonderful video ❤️❤️
The best story ever.ty Nash D.
Your every word hit my heart...❤💫😢 lots of love and respect from Sri Lanka..❤🇱🇰
Marvelous video!! You have articulated very well what we Japanese were all feeling... that we decided to seek for a better, peaceful world, rather than hating each other.
You make very interesting and knowledgeable videos ❤
It must been hard for these survivors I expected protestors there, but there were people forgiving so fast, faster than we can recover from any war. Thanks, Nas for showing us this, keep doing what you're doing ❤
We love Japan from Northeast India 🇮🇳❤️🇯🇵
im in Japan right now. I visited that place. Very emotional..
時間だけが憎しみを消し去った訳じゃない。先人達が、憎しみに目を曇らせてはいけないと前を向いて必死に努力した結果だよ。広島県民としてそこは忘れて欲しくない。
Love this story alot. Thanks nas. I literally emotional watching this. Peace is what we all human need regardless of race and religion. Love from Brunei 🇧🇳

@@LeViAcKerman-dj4yc Bro, you said that it's only fair that Unit 731 was not punished by international law and that 2 nukes were a quick way to end the war they created. fortunately america didn't do downfall operation and why should we be sad if they started by slaughtering almost all asian countries and they forgot history when they started a war in asia
