With regards to the horse - that's called clipping, and it's generally done in the cooler months to stop the horse getting too hot during exercise. There are several different styles of clip, too, depending on what the horse will need.

1:30 is my fave for what it shows as a solution, even if only partially, for better agricultural water usage. Instead of water wastage when Gallons of water, by the minute, are sprayed into the hot Summer air in, for example, huge California crop farms!

3:45 Never did it with a high-pressure water hose, but scrubbing clean a filthy AC filter does feel pretty good. Makes the unit run a WHOLE lot better afterwards, too; to make the room smell awesome when you turn it on, use antibacterial handsoap to scrub it clean with, in your favorite scent. Helps get it cleaner, and smells great.

These videos would be so much more enjoyable if you would tell us what each person is doing. Not all of them are obvious. I'm sure there are others like me who don't have a clue what some of this stuff is.
