Every of your videos is so professional, I'm amazed! I'm not a handyman type, but your explanations are so simple, clear and exact, that I can understand everything.
What a cool little tool! I love how compact it is. 🤩

Totally!
I'm all for wee ratchets, but from where I've been, those seem big! They do look strong and you proved it. Back in the 90's, I got a gearless 1/4" drive small ratchet from Griot's Garage, probably an Astro 9707. There's also a 3/8 drive one, Astro 9705. Looks like they've faded away because of the competition from Titan/Northern Tool, who are still selling them. Some Titan customers are complaining of an unsmooth action, so I'd suggest a night in a cup of ATF. The drawbacks to the gearless micro ratchets? No quick release -- and no change of direction. If you want to change direction, you remove the socket, push the drive square through the ratchet head with your thumb to the other side, then put the socket back on on the other side. The roller/pawl gearless system is often talked about as "zero degree", which, in practice, is not true, but it's pretty darned good, esp. for close quarters tussles.

I recall having a roller bearing style ratchet made by Rotax, but I could be mistaken about the manufacturer name. Yes, a downfall of such a design can lead to "painting yourself into a corner" since it has no reversal of direction.
Great vídeo. That tool will save alot of work. Did not know it existed.
if you want a short ratchet; cut-off saw
Where's the video for an EDC truck tool kit?
My snap on 1/4" flex head stubby is my baby

Lb-ft is correct, no ft-lb. Like Nm. Force-Distance. For whatever reason ft-lb has become a common phrase, but that doesn’t make it correct.
