Very cool idea - it would make sense if Dremel like tools weren't so cheap but if your in a place with limited resources it works great. That header kit is almost the cost of a cheap Harbor freight tool. Still I'm trying to re-use the motor's from old appliances. Nice idea to get to the internal pad.

It's like a DIY dremel tool. He uses it with abrasive bits to grind away PCB masking and chip plastic for repairs.

Eso ya yo lo hice primero que tu y que unos cuantos mas pero con una pinza y un corta uñas para sacar una patilla de algún integrado que se halla partido rente al encapsulado,yo lo descubro un poco así y lo puedo salvar soldándolo desde mas adentro y he salvado unos cuantos ic de mandos y control remoto😎😎😎😉

Same. Usually they have different kind of motor. It uses electromagnet which moves the blade from side to side very fast. It seems more effective than this rotary motion

My opportunity to say a fully ballbearing variable speed clone of the Dremel in kit form is available for $40. I have one and disassembled. The motor tool is good, well balanced even at max speed. Brushes are shunted. The larger bits are not well balanced, vibration. The chuck is not compatible with older Dremel but bits are interchangable. Flex extension is a joke, really bad vibration at any speed beyond minimum. Still a good deal IMO. Best not to use keyless chuck for Dremel or clone. Vibration is terrible. Keyed chuck works best.

That’s not a chuck at all, it’s a collet, which is better for vibration/runout than even the best keyed chuck.

Смысл в том, что не надо тратится на дремель, а собственными руками сделать себе инструмент и приспособления. Проявив смекалку и находчивость.
