How did you get such a gorgeous flush from the Milani blush?? I use it as a face powder, it's sheer enough to just give me a hint of color. I've tried to build it up to "real blush" but I can't get that much color. I bought it specifically to use as powder tho, it's my 'dupe' for a lancome blush that is too spendy to replace - I love it as is, I'm def not complaining lol. Maybe your skin tone is significantly lighter, but I'm a pale-to-light (let's get rid of "fair" - the implications were intentional, it's not a value-neutral term, it's gross when you start to realize what it means...just my soapbox lol).

That mascara looks incredible on you!

I felt that "it made me feel ugly" in my soul. Those Rare Beauty blushes are the worst blushes I ever tried. My pores, acne and acne scars screamed "hello". I didn't even know I had this many acne scars. I took it off immediately and wanted to cry.

I love how you don't just say "this product is bad" but acknowledge that it isn't for you and say who it actually is for. So many times I hear beauty influencers say "This is awful!" when they don't like something. Hearing you talk about the Saie concealer was great because I love thinner concealers with medium coverage because I dislike having a "painted on" face and needing to use products on my entire face all the time - it's the reason I don't even wear foundation. A light, blendable concealer with medium coverage is perfect for me - if they have a shade that matches me I might just try it.

Thank you Kait! I definitely rely on and almost always agree with your reviews. You are so smart, honest, clear and practical that it's really refreshing. I totally appreciate that you don't "love" every product you try. Consequently you are one of the few reviewers that I still follow!

I have been suspecting that this would be how the Rare Beauty glowy blushes would actually perform and I have been scouring KZread for critical reviews and have not found a single one. Thank you for showing us how it actually applies and wears on the skin. I don't even think your skin is the issue, it's just the way the blushes were (imho, not very well) formulated that they look unforgiving on the skin.

You are a rare candid gem. As you so aptly said, a change in a sea of influencers. And I am into that. I'm def subscribing and clicking that bell. Doesn't matter that your complexion colour recommendations won't work on me. I want to hear about the formulas and you seem to do a great job of explaining that and giving a disclaimer for items that would work for richer skin tones like me.

Agree 100%. It angers and offends me to hear people wanting "positivity" in reviews. No! As consumers in a capitalist leaning society, we are naturally opponents of brands, we should advocate for ourselves aggressively. If a creator tries to be too diplomatic, tbh, I unsub. A creator may earn money from both Brand deals & views, but I am only spending my time on those who put me first. This is not selfish, it's essential for capitalism to work properly. Seeing consumers embrace corporatism as "being nice" is honestly horrible. So thank you for being honest. You aren't ever mean or nasty about it, that's not necessary either, but you put ME first and I'm not going to pretend that's not everything.

That’s because chapters negatively affect our watch time analytics and they’re incredibly time consuming! The #1 metric KZread looks at to decide if it’s worth pushing your video is watch time. If you skip ahead or stop watching before a video ends, it hurts the analytics. Adding chapters means people skip ahead. I care less about how big my channel is, I care more about user experience.

I LOVE the Ami Colé lip oils (were my holy grails) but after reading some reviews when I was going to buy another color, many said that they found black mold growing at the bottom and got no answers from the brand. I removed the sticker and checked both of mine and I have mold too. Make sure to check yours! I’m so sad 😭😭😭

thank you for your input on the rare beauty blushes. the marketing material looks so so amazing and tempting but I had the sneaking position that they would be in that uncanny valley between blush and highlighter. A long long loooong time ago I used to own a soap and glory blush/highlighter like that, also drawn in by the packaging, but never ended up wearing it because it was just too shiny to be worn as a blush but too pigmented to be a standalone highlighter

i finally got the fit glow concealer on your rec and i love it, i wasn’t sure i would be a thick, single dot concealer but its really so much better for me than all the serum based concealers i was using before. though im wondering what your favorite way to apply is? i’m dotting with fingers right now that works but not sure it’s the best approach?

That iNNBeauty Project sunscreen looks amazing! Im curious how it compares to the Hero Superbeam sunscreen. By the looks of the clips the consistency looks similar! As always thanks for de-influencing all of us! - Britta

I actually love the liv tinted skin tint. However, I didn’t use it as my only spf, just because of the price point. I layered a cheaper spf underneath.

That prequel sunscreen flakes on me too, I only use it now if I’m going to be washing my face right after like going for a run or to the gym, somewhere no one will be looking at me 😂

That rare beauty metallic “blush” is marketing gone wrong

We have a very similar skin tone and makeup preferences, so I always look forward to these ... I'm looking at it onscreen and not IRL but I think that Milani bronzer looks fantastic on you, my 2 cents. I'm also going to have to check out the Pillow Talk Fair lip cheat, that looks like a perfect shade. I REALLY wish brands would stop adding strong flavor/fragrance, especially to lip products.

I’ve hit pan on my makeup by Mario skin enhancer.I may try the Milani cream bronzer before I re up on the skin enhancer the formula and color look nice. I’m your skin depth but neutral.

I’m weird, I like the sugar baby lip gloss😂 but with a lip liner. I like the creamy look especially in spring and summer

I thought the Prequel sunscreen would be my holy grail but it pilled horribly under my makeup. I picked up the InnBeauty sunscreen off your recommendation and it’s working so well for me!

I tried the new Rare Beauty Blushes too and am not intonthem like I thought I would be... $$$ saved😁💜

I also don't like shimmery blushes. The new NARS blushes are nice, and they are matte. I have the color orgasm edge its nice and also matte.

I think the Rare Beauty blushes look pretty in the compact but not on most people's skin. I have texture from wrinkles, the last thing I need is a glow product to emphasize them. I wear a tinted sunblock and it evens out my skin tone enough so I don't have to wear foundation. My skin shows through so no need for any glow product. I think highlighters in general look somewhat artificial on me and are not my friends. I prefer a matte or at most satin in all my make-up products. I have similar views on concealers. I also gravitate towards thicker formulations where I prefer a little bit of concealer with full coverage. If need be I can always add a tiny bit of moisturiser to thin it out. What I don't enjoy is applying multiple layers of concealer especially under my eyes, to get the coverage I want. Love your unabashed endorsement of a sunblock, I am going to check that one out. I enjoyed your video. I felt that you were fair and insightful in your reviews. Be well 🌷
