What's the easiest way to get to Islamabad from Lahore?
The answer is by bus!
On this vlog, we try the most luxurious (and most expensive?) bus in Pakistan...the Q Connect Bus that runs from Lahore to Islamabad. There are other bus services such as Faisal movers bus but we chose Q Connect due to many recommendations. The journey took us through the Pakistan motorway. This was our first time riding a bus in Pakistan so you will get our first impressions.
Our journey will also take you all the way to our hostel in Islamabad and our Uber ride in Pakistan.

My story from a few years ago. I travelled on Daewoo bus service from Islamabad to Multan. I left my iPad by mistake in the seat back pocket. Was so tired (flew night flight London to Islamabad and then straight through onto the bus) that I didn't notice I'd left it behind. I got a call from the bus terminal in Multan after I had got home asking if I had left anything on the bus. I said I don't think so. The guy said, think harder. Then I remembered, told him, and he said they had it in the security office and to come and get it. When I went to pick it up, there was no fuss and when I tried to tip the security guard (who had found the iPad), he refused to take any money. I was so impressed and grateful. Just needed to share this story. I hope that you will enjoy the rest of your time in Pakistan guys. If I was there (I'm in UK atm), I would have loved to have hosted you for dinner or something. I was 19 when I went back to Pakistan after growing up in USA. I was traveling alone and it was my first time coming to Pakistan. I arrived at the airport, completely culture shocked. I came out to the gate and could not find any of my family members who had come out to pick me up. I was in Islamabad and my cousins were coming from Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir (4 hrs away). I had no way to contact them and had no idea how far were they or if they even were on their way. I approached an airport security guard, who was dressed in pixelated green and black camouflaged with an AK-47 swung around his chest. He was not much older than me (probably 21-25). I explained my situation to him. He gave me his cell phone and told me to call my cousins. I talked to them and they told me they were 30 mins away. I felt very relieved. The security guard told me not to wander too far and dont trust anyone here you dont know. He stayed with me until my cousins came. When they got there I slid him $50 as I shook his hand, but he refused to take the money. I wish I could meet him again. People of Pakistan are beautiful people.

yeah Pakistan is that kind of country where you can still find the old nitty gritty lifestyles.... as well as modern luxury lifestyles.... it's a good place if someone wants a feel of both, like sometimes travelling into far rural areas just to see people living like in the 1940s is eye opening... but some of them are happy and want to live like that, like those near the hilly and mountain areas... they are happy with their fresh water supply, natural agriculture, they eat healthy etc, so they avoid trying to pursue a modern life by choice, yet at the same time, the main cities have everything to offer that a westerner would be accustom to.
I would say, i have traveled across Europe and living in Berlin but never saw that beautiful and clean bus service in Germany.

Better than any bus we have ever travelled on for sure. But what I really like was that you showed the zero pressure from taxis. Lack of aggressive touts and taxi drivers make travelling Pakistan so enjoyable. Really and truly an underrated point.

@@JetLagWarriors visit Kalam, Chitral, Kalash valley (very unique culutre, only around 3000 individuals are left from that religion and culture. you would enjoy there), and also visit southern part of Punjab too, Multan a very historical city as old as Roman history is, and Bahawalpur the city of palaces.

As we all (Pakistanis) keep claiming about the diversity of our country. Now as you start roaming in Islamabad streets, you'll be shocked by observing the total different vibes in Islamabad. As I already said, touring Pakistan from one corner to other is kind of a roller coaster ride. That is why, once again, we are marked no.1 country to visit in 2021, by Ibex. No, these buses are always on time. They depart on time and arrival on time. Time is monitored by motorway authority in Pakistan. I have travelled 7 years once a month by Daweoo, Faisal Movers, Skyways, Bilal Transport etc and they were always on time.
Wow, nice bus and for a half finished building, it looks pretty clean, no dust? Anyway, the funniest moment for me, was "No, this is an elevator, you should take the lift over there." Hahaha. Anyway, thanks for showing Pakistan, its true beauty...

Probably that's the most luxurious bus in the Pakistan and one of the *best around globe* . Reason : busses are the most common means of public transport as compared to trains in other parts of the world. Our trains are not even closer to trains in other countries.
I notice you willing to spend here than in Malaysia. More luxury accommodation, dinning and travel in style.

I took a similar luxury bus from KL to Singapore. What an experience! Company was Transtar I think..

These apartments are newly constructed, but they are not the best choice, if you are getting a very good deal then maybe okay but otherwise there are many other options to go for.

Zairil. Indian media is a hoaxster. Specially against Pakistan. Showing Pakistan as a disaster sells in India. And people willingly accept it without a question. I feel sorry for someone who wishes to be lied to.

Being a Pakistani; I recommend you to visit the northern area’s of Pakistan like fairy-medows, Hunza, Gilgit, Skardu, Swat etc are the top most beautiful places of Pakistan.....

Whoaa...guys 🤩 this is premium class really luxurious 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 hope you had a smooth and enjoyable trip , quite reasonable almost the same in Malaysia if you take any expensive coach for 5 hours journey will be around the price sometimes you get a massage chair and WiFi plus food and drinks , awesome 👍🏻
