In my opinion one of the most intense Taekwondo matches was in Manchester's Grand Prix in 2015, Servet Tazegul v/s Albolfazl Yaghoubi

New Tkd gave rise to some of the most unrealistic kicks that cannot be used in a real fight

agree, but fun fact the % of real fight are so low that most people are never going to fight once in their life

I am not in the condition to say if it's fair or not, but in my opinion they should not dived for weight class but for our the game is done, I would dived it for height class and maybe weight class in lower belts

i hate how taekwondo turned up now you focus on front leg and there are single kick scores and then hugging they took our freedom in the fight with all of this new useless rules and stoppung battle in every second

Yes, its mainly based on front leg, and its annoying. They are trying to change it with rules, but seems its not working for now. The single point is not true. Its like boxe, if they clinch the refree break them. With previeous rules the fight were only in the last 30s of 3rd round, but now, after 1min studying, you can watch a better fight since first round
