Oh, look everyone! The yanks invented the hovercraft! Just like the one the Brits invented in 1959 and went at 60MPH, and could hold 40 cars and 20 semi-trucks. Then we had the SRN4 that is 2x the size of the yanks hover. Though we took ours out of service in 1995, because the thing guzzled 1000 gallons of fuel an hour.

Actually the Hovercraft was patented in 1954 by Sir Christopher Cockerell. While he worked for Marconi. Who actually invented the Hovercraft has nothing to do with who patented it. A commercial Hovercraft wasn't actually used to transport people or equipment until 1962. And Cockerell didn't discover " Ground Effects " which is what the Hovercraft makes use of in a incredibly inefficient way. There's more than a little evidence to suggest the Hovercraft design was the brainchild of a few engineers at Marconi. Cockerell also helped invent Radar which he tried to take full credit for on multiple occasions
the sir mix a lot referance stunned me but then you just kept it up, brilliant
I like it that gear is making it more and more safe for dogs in service, but I don't like it that they get used in the first place. Let humans fight their own wars...
Driving a tow truck in Oklahoma City. I was headed home late one cold night. Just as I passed an exit from I-44 I noticed a jeep with its hazard lights on at the stopsign and a young woman walking away. I went ti the nearest exit and turned around. I caught up with her walking about 100 yards from her jeep. I pulled up beside and had her get in..told her I knew that was her ride ..let's get you home. She looked like "uh.oh". She told me her address. It wasn't far from my place.After getting her home she ran in to get her father.when he asked "What do I owe you?" I told him."not a penny...I would just hope if my daughter ever broke down somebody would. Help her too."

That's great and exactly what people should do. The last time I picked up a hitch hiker was about 30 years ago on a cold rainy night. All seemed good until I was surrounded by 6 police cars which my rider was running from. Last time for me...

@@lennydetloff1031 Many years ago my friend and I got a ride from a drunk man and woman. Then he started getting frisky with her. Then he was crossing the center line, and almost hit someone. If the fancy tank sports a rail gun as it's main gun it would be the most deadly ground vehicle known around the world.

Unless the batteries run out of power or unless the tank got hit with a uranium anti armor round that sets the high power electrical system into a fire that burns so hot the fire department can't put it out...(look at tesla lithium battery explosions) the high frequency electronic systems they're using to create these fantasy machines is more deadly to the ones operating it there's alot of downsides to this tech they like to leave out of the theory
What’s the little rotor in the back for?
The smart Bulletts are incredible !
@25:04 #3 "The Cougar 6x6 someone educate me here. Ok, I get it the vehicle itself is protected by specialized armor against IED's or mines, but what about the tires? An IED or mine goes off, suddenly that 6x6 is no on the ground all or most of the tires are blown out, deflated??? Is this where you call in for some help from an A-10?
Great video👍

Re the Holmatro door blaster, we were using similar in the UK fire service over 20 years ago!
Cougar 6x6 stock footage is an RC car lmfao.
The scene where the Cougar 6X6 is shown on rough terrain ??? That's an R/C model, you can even hear the whine of the electric motor and gears meshing. Kind of a goofy demonstration, the rear drives don't even follow the terrain, must be a cheap model.
25:02 All the off road clips of a RC model of the Cougar makes it look like scam 🤣😂
One thing I noticed is the Tanks that cleared a bunch of dirt out the way and at the same time it was demining its path, however what if a huge long extended arm was attached to tanks to act as metal detectors to locate these mines/bombs?
@dingerr9994
Жыл бұрын
Detectors would only locate the explosive device, they won’t clear it. Breaching a minefield needs to be rapid and is often under enemy contact. Metal detectors/ground penetrating radar are great for IED clearance.
@TheDubster420
Жыл бұрын
There have been many models of experimental mine clearing tanks the earlier models did have the extended arm you mentioned I believe the reason they went to the plow is because the arms would get damaged or ripped apart after they upset a very sensitive explosive so they had to come up with a less expensive way

#FancyTopic - Judging by the other comments, most people think its a Railgun-type tank, except that a closer look at the end of the barrel has too much blockage of what would be the long barrel of the cannon or Railgun bore. Ditto for any laser-emitter effect from the end. Most probable is, like one other person stated, some form of a Sonic Cannon or Sonic Disrupter that can send out concentrated packets of disruptive, and quite possible destructive, sound waves.
That Tank with the gun rifle in the thumbnail..... that should be Megatron!!!!

I've always wondered how they could get modern tanks like our M1A2's across a sizeable river. Now I know.
Awesome thanks for information
Very cool and informative. Do you have anything about spy weapons and/or spying equipment that I can find on KZread
I swear. That white tank looks like a new version of Megatron
the 1st tank is massive
I want a tank that has a Gatling gun with a 120mm tank barrel with 6 barrels that shoot 10 120mm shells every 20 seconds. Plus 50cals with grenade launchers on all 4 corners. Plus anti aircraft capabilities & radar jammers. Am I dreaming? Is it possible? Might weigh 100 tons though but I bet they can find a way. America.... Texas..............................Make it happen. To quote another channel "overkill is underated" hahaha. P.S. the goggles for dogs that allow it's master to see what the dog sees is brilliant. Dogs are a vital asset that's saved many lives. I love dogs. Truly man's best friend. Thank you doggos , cheers to all of you.

#fancyTopic. Looks like a type of Sonic Tank to me.
Cougar 6x6 had alot of RC car video in the clip😂😂😂
its a railgun obvious by the barrel... not a laser because they dont need long barrels. also compare it to the other mobile railguns released to the public eye it becomes obvious
The breacher is a fantastic machine. Untill it pulls up 200 yards of phone wire and has that all wrapped in a track or Barb wire!! You get a call!

19:10) Airwolf. 22:40)The "smart bullet" was invented 60+ years ago. Official reports state ONE bullet killed JFK and wounded the others. 23:45)One of my many duties in the US Army was CBR. We had a version of the M17A1 protective, NOT GAS, mask for dogs. 25:03) Cougar 6X. 26:43)AVLB story reminds me of of one from WW II. In Italy, the US Army was waiting for the limey army to link up from Leghorn. One day a jeep arrived. The men were BBC reporters. The GIs were informed that a link was a long way off. The German Army blew up all of the main route bridges. naturally the GIs asked how did the they get here. The BBC men took the side roads. So, look for a bypass while waiting for the bridge.

The point of blasting someones front door open is the element of surprise, so they aren't grabbing weapons, or escaping out the back or something. Do people developing equipment look into these things first?

I just read (somewhere) that tanks are becoming obsolete, as they are too easily destroyed by missiles. They also require soldiers to be exposed to do repairs, like blowing a track, etc. Thoughts anyone?
@BlackHearthguard

That theory has also been trashed recently, as there is still no way for troops to advance with cover that can add firepower to a mission. Personally, I think tanks will be around for a lot longer yet, they're just too versatile.

@@BlackHearthguard i suspect we will get smaller vehicles with tank guns that are unmanned control with an AI that an infantry can give certain instructions. but that may be 100 years away.
The one that open the door is not effective, you need something faster and something that you can go in without something that stop you
With them drones guns you could use like a mini emp like they said kinda good idea
Fancy Topic scary and and More 😮
OMG, I was wondering why I knew what you were about to say. Fam, that was SirMixaLot. #ImSubscribing #HadMe@ILike
why would I hit the like button before I have seen it ?
#fancytopic I'd say that it's a tank with a Laser cannon. The obstruction in the barrel would prevent it from firing any kind of solid projectile, so it can't fire traditional rounds, or hyper velocity rounds of any kind. That would leave some kind of energy weapon. Unlike some who say sound, I don't see it emitting any kind of sound over the long distances a tank would need, and over distance definitely not focused enough to do significant damage. On the other hand a highly concentrated laser could be effective at that range, and would also have an obstruction at the end of the barrel like this has, such as a lense to focus the intensity of the beam depending on the range. The barrel underneath could either be a traditional projectile, or even something to fire hypervelocity rounds. The tracks would indicate that the weight is substantial, I'd guess 80 - 90 tons, possibly more the addition of a 6th road wheel also implies that the added weight would require more distribution of weight. The "armor" is likely white to aid in dissipation of heat, which is likely another indication that this is in fact a laser, and this armor is meant to counter similar opponents in the field. I'd bet it's a composite which is also intended to counter conventional rounds as well. This doesn't actually exist, it's just a computer generated image of what a prospective vehicle of this nature could look like. In reality if it were to be built the first thing that would be scrapped would be the hull mounted weapon, whatever it's nature is. It's just pointless, and it would be nearly impossible to use with any kind of effectiveness. Not only would you have to move the entire hull in order to track any moving target, again with a weight I'm assuming between 80 and 90 tons, that would be almost impossible, but the weapon itself because of how it's situation would have extremely limited traverse, so it wouldn't be able to fire very far down range. That would mean it's more intended to be a somewhat close defense weapon, to engage anything that got within it's defensive sphere, and again being mounted on the hull for such use makes it's extremely impractical. A remote controlled .50 would be far better suited to that role. The only other option I can think of would be a flame thrower of some sort for CQB, which if you're sending a tank to do, you're an absolute moron, and you're going to lose a lot of tanks doing that. Urban environments are not only the absolute worst places you can put tanks, but they're also the easiest ways to get your tanks taken out. All in all I'd say this is a graphical image of what a future laser tank could look like. Again... this wouldn't make it to concept due to the hull mounted weapon.
Exelent❤❤❤❤❤❤
