Most Important Modification You Must Perform on Your Fishing Lures

I am getting ready for the upcoming season. In this video I'm mainly showing people the most important modification you must do to your lures.
Most companies want to maximize their profits, so they will cut corners any chance they get to save a few pennies. They will almost always cheapen out on the hardware.

Hey! I’ve been a lifetime freshwater fisherman and moved to Kemah back in 2021 and was completely overwhelmed with saltwater fish id and gear. Just last week I purchased a surf rod setup and found your video on how to cast, which of course has led me into the rabbit hole of the rest of your videos and I’m loving it. Keep it up! I really appreciate all this info!

Hey, what's up bro, Saul here from Ensenada Baja California, I got to tell you, you're the only person I follow on KZread and I've been applying all your knowledge on my fishing and I'm getting better. Thanks to you I got the Okuma Solaris rod and I love it, I can cast over 100+ yards with ease, we are getting close to the Bluefin season, you should come over to México or ill pick you up in San Diego.

Thanks for putting together this one. You distill thousands of hours of trial and error into an incredibly valuable video. A fisherman used to have to send a $19.95 check or money order together with a card that came in a tackle box for a set of outdated books that ended up having 1/100th of the info packed into this video!

I used to melt solder into my spoons so i could cast them farther. This was shore fishing up in Alaska so the farther I could cast the better. . It was my only ocean fishing i ever did. If the tide was high the fish were able to go up the river and move. This was the East Alsek River. There was an earthquake years before that split the river so that one half was glacier fed and the other river was the one i fished that was entirely spring fed and clear. That part was only a few miles long and we could see the spawning grounds. The other half was long enough to come from a glacier i think in Canada. The water was white and really cold. When the water was up it was one of the heaviest flowing rivers in the USA

I used to do all kinds of stuff like; changing the treble hooks to better quality & just making sure all my lures were clean and free of old line. Stripper fishing we'd drill our Large Red-Fin lures & fill the body w/ lead shot or bb's. This gave us the ability to cast them further below Lake Texoma Dam. Keeping all your stuff clean is paramount to good fishing, thanks man
