Another Elite AF video that is full of info. To reiterate the point, if you are going to fish the jetties, get the proper footwear! It is one of the best investments and a game changer for fishing the rocks. Seen too many people hurt themselves, break rods, and lose fish because they don't have the proper footwear.

I live in KC now but will be home in Bayou Vista at the end of September. Fishing every day. I'm logging all his video locations. Mostly for the fish. Partly on the off chance I can thank him personally. These videos are great for a homesick Galveston Bay Rat. Thanks again Bomber!

Exactly, that's one piece of gear one shouldn't cheapen out on.

I’m not a jetty guy by any means, but I lost two spoons just like that a few days ago. As a matter of fact, my buddy me gave a quick class on how to work a spoon once we got set up, LOL. I landed (& successfully revived) a couple bull reds at 44.5” & 42.” I had enough fun that I’m going to explore jetty fishing a bit more when I’d normally skip hitting the beach.

That type of fishing I use a Diana 8000. It works great and can use to pull in crab pots fishing type

Also last important note…. If the fish are there the fish are there. You can fish a day and have no bites, it’s just the name of the game. But the smart thing to do if you get no bites, is try another spot.

That's terrible man! When I used to work at the local trauma center, we had a guy that slipped and cracked his skull. Dude had massive intracerebreal hemorrhage. Dude was in the neuro icu for over a month.

Please be careful because it is almost impossible to get back before you have to go. You might bust a gut trying to make it to shore. Bring a 5 gallon bucket and tarp to cover up while and when you go.
