These are such cool fish and the bonus is that they are not imported...thanks to our hobbyist breeders. They look real good. The cherry barbs have been one of the mainstay favorites in my home for many years. I find the males' bright red colors just beautiful.

Honestly its nice that you are buying from hobbyists, farms just mass produce stuff with little reguards to genetic diversity. Hobbyists are more likely to care more about their breeding ethics, especially if they go the extra mile to buy wild fish and crossing it with aquarium strains or producing f1,f2,f3, generations from wild fish, which are more adaptable.

Great to see you supporting the hobbits. The hardest things for me is to find some ware to go with the fish you raze. There is so few mom and pop stores left. In my area it's all chain stores.

I hope 🤞 the William creek rainbow fish are from out near Theodore Queensland Australia. We're heading out to visit friends so I can go exploring and see them in the wild. The creeks that I have found Rainbow fish in is sandy bottom with a lot of bank overhang, running really clean clear water. Not many plants either. Thanks Dan 👍 have a great day.

Love the whole aphanius genus. For the longest time, blue gularis were my favorite killifish. But a few years ago, I picked up some mento and they jumped ahead in the rankings. Currently, I'm in the early stage of growing up a group of young dispar.

Such beautiful fish -- I really LOVE those Marada rainbows -- those signifers have to come first though -- thanks for getting them!!! I'm working on making room for my new 125G (moving almost all 20 tanks and fish - good grief!), but am making progress this weekend and will be ordering some fish again soon!!! Thanks again and again for everything you're doing, Dan. I'm really glad to support you, your team and your mission every chance I get.

If you can grab some corydoras from Ian Fuller or other corydoras breeders, you would definitely be grabbing some quality fish, especially since Ian has some very prolific breeders and fish that lived to be very old (20+ years old).

Are those Perugia related to limia tridens, i just got a big group of limia tridens, im kinda new to limia but they were sold as tiger mollys but they are a Mexican livebearer, also found in Haiti, but there gorgeous, the males only get like 1.5 in and females 2+ in but there so interesting, i have some fry already so im happy about that, but limia are very interesting fish, especially humpback limia.... i love cherry barbs though, cant go wrong with them, i have a group of male juvenile with a big grouo of checkered barbs, and beckfords red pencilfish in a 37G tall, they go so well together, 🍒's will always be one of my top favorite small barb species ❤️

Dan, I may have a problem with the gold backed shrimp I got from you several weeks ago. I don't know whether or not they are ok. We have other neocaridinas (blue, cherrry and yellow) each in their own tank, that are very active and also breeding like crazy. We acclimated the gold backs slowly to our water. They are in a 10-G cycled tank, pH 7.2 72 degrees F, lots of Java moss &, some driftwood. I feed them every other day with shrimp cuisine. I am very sparing with food - one pellet per shrimp, because I never see them eat. My question is this: Why are they so inactive? They jet away when I disturb them, but most of the time they are just sitting still in the moss or on the wood. Our other shrimp are constantly moving around and foraging. Is this a characteristic of gold back shrimp, or is there something wrong?
