What people should do is forget the original dinobots and treat these as their own characters.

@@karimarvargas8603 well I understand people wanna compare these to the dinobots but they aren’t them they are definitely there own thing and when you compare the two it throws off the figure in your mind. This isn’t snarl it’s just another bot that happens to be a Dino bot and I love em.

@@kalobhunt9001 no, dino-bot is cool and nothing can make it cooler... unless we get a remaster of the Cybertron games and a gamer series Grimlock.

I'd say Cang Toys transformation is not that complex, but I'd agree that it is not fun to transform

Skill Issue

It’s a snarl adaptation from the transformers movies tlk not G1. The transformation from robot to steg mode is really good. But I treat them as puzzles and use the manual only as a reference to the final mode. I dislike the shoulder joint because the flexion has a significantly weaker ratchet than abduction. You must be careful or it’ll break. Haven’t reversed it or combined it though

For ALL of the Cang Toys figures... I'd recommend just abandoning the idea that they are G1 or even TRANSFORMERS inspired... and consider them like an "Alternate Universe" option. On their own merits, being their OWN thing... they're great... but if you must compare them to original TF's... yeah, you're not going to be happy. (I felt this with the Thunderking set, too. I love it, but you can't/shouldn't compare with G1 Predacons). I never experienced any of the flaking shown in this video, though... maybe just because I don't really have any white/bright areas that I transform my figures on, but... And as for the transformation... YES, that one step where you try to get the GOLD part out of the spinal column and hide the head in the gap... NOT GOOD AT ALL. I stopped at that point 3 times and just kept waiting for a review to come out to show me what I was doing wrong... finally, one day, I just said "Screw it, I'm going to play with it until I get it to work." and I finally did... once the "joints" were lined up correctly (and GOD, that was not well described anywhere and I think I just got lucky), that part came out easily and the rest of the transformation wasn't too bad... I'd say it was about as complicated as any MP figure after that point. I kept the figure in Stegosaurus mode for a few days, and found that by bending a few joints, you can get everything to tab in rather nicely, actually, and getting panels in place (like on his back) wasn't too bad if you had a spudger to help you out. Going back to robot mode wasn't bad at all. I do enjoy Cang Toys figures. If they were less expensive, I'd probably pick up duplicates so that I can have 1 combined team and then another team loose for playing with, but sadly, no... they are all high quality, and I never felt like I was getting ripped off by their prices. If you're willing to put in the time and effort, I think these are great and highly recommend.

Really don’t get the constant g1 comparisons when this is quite clearly not supposed to be a g1 adaptation but their own original take on the character if you want a g1 snarl go to another company

The thing is people want it have the same treatment as the predacons they don't have to be completely g1 but they steal want them to have there more recognizable looks just with a altered design the dinobots didn't get the same treatment
