I'll never forget that when I played wild world when the game was still kind of new, I made a wish after I saw a shooting star for the first time. The next day in my mail I got a present from the star: a FREAKING THRONE!! So freaking lucky.

Especially since you mentioned the post office replica and rainbow feather, I am AMAZED you didn’t mention the ABD machine in City Folk. Only know about this from the strategy guide: apparently if you max your savings out like you would for the post office in the original, you get a working ABD to place in your house.

@17:20 this is also true for the first DS Animal Crossing: Wild World; maxing out your bank account of 999,999,999 gives you the town hall model. I'd assume this is the same for every game in the series, but I never tried outside of Wild World.

The feathers were expensive in Wild World, but nothing compared to the amount you need to save up to earn them in City Folk. But in CF you didn't had to donate the money, you only had to have it on your bank account. Green Feather - 100,000,000 Bells Blue Feather - 200,000,000 Bells Yellow Feather - 300,000,000 Bells Red Feather - 400,000,000 Bells Purple Feather - 500,000,000 Bells White Feather - 600,000,000 Bells Rainbow Feather - 700,000,000 Bells But once you have one, you just can order them for about 400 Bells.

I am doing a "collect all clothes" in New Horizons because i ran out of things to do. And i recently got the Royal Crown. Honesty, if i wasnt collecting all the clothes, i would've ignored this thing because aside from making a villager your best friend instantly, its useless 😅

Man, I remember in my first town in ACNL, I got the throne from a shooting star. I kept it in my storage until I saw in a game guide that it was worth 800k bells. I sold it to Reese for 200k and I was so happy to be "rich" haha! Would have been better if I held onto it until they paid double for furniture, but eh, for a new AC player it was still great.

I haven't checked in a long time, but Sasha is currently my most expensive wanted villager, with an average of 4 million bells last I checked. I am still trying to find ways to get bells for my dream villages, but treasure islands are quite popular and some have crowns on them. Market is insane.

I had that Post Office replica on the Gamecube! Granted, I played it to relax off and on for about 6 years, so...I wouldn't really call it an achievement so much as just taking it easy in a time before there were a lot of great relaxing games. It was just Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon for me at the time, but boy did they get me through school.

I got the post office when i had the gamecupe version i figured out non local fruit sold for more so i grew tons of trees and picked them all and sold them as wlel as doing errands i have a notebook doing it all up i loved that game

I remember in the earlier days of nl just spending evenings diving for rare sea creatures until my inventory was full, selling them off (or storing them to sell the next day if nooks was closed) then repeating lol

Speaking of the post office, if you manage to save 10 million bells into your bank account in New Leaf, you'll get a post office poster. I have 13 million bells in New Leaf so far, while in New Horizons I have almost 50 million bells, 100% legitimate (I used Nookazon a bit).

My sister recently remade her island, and I let her use my island which is only three stars with plenty of open space still to drop anything she wanted to keep. Vast majority of it was bells, and she said I could take as much as I want, but I didn’t want to take too much. I ended up taking bout 6mil bells, but it didn’t event make a dent in her total so I could have taken more, but I didn’t want to be greedy!

could we get unlimited bells by hacking a game save file? 1. you would need to do this in an emulator since i doubt that there are usb to game save cartridge adaptors.* 2. since the game cube does not have easy access to the internet (optional modem adaptor required) many people would probably would not be going online so chances of there being any online games are fairly nill so animal crossing is pretty much offline only. 3. since the game cube version only uses 2 bits to verify the game save hacking should be easy. *= i dont know what nintendo's formula for active hardware is it may take like 30 years to get a console vintage and obsolete enough to where it wont draw a c&d notice for emulation and dumping roms .
