I don't read the comics only snit bits like this, but in the show omni man new mark went into that penthouse and new mark was getting trashed by battle beast and the rest of those freaks and still did nothing to help. I feel like they did that on purpose knowing that if battle beast and omni man actually fought it would be on a much grander scale then the fight between the guardians and the beast

Idk why people keep saying viltrumites have advanced healing like that. Yes they do have a healing factor but it’s of no use during combat. Only after when they have time to recover. The smart adoms within their bodies increase durability and strength. They also have incredible stamina which allow them to keep fighting for a long time.

The only thing that you could say is they are more durable with the types of injuries they get. Like if two guys are fighting and one busts a blood vessel in their brain, they're going to die from internal hemorrhaging. Viltrumites seem to shrugg off injuries that would be 100% lethal to us, but you are right they don't start healing right away. It took Mark months to heal that hole in his chest.

Not only was this one of the best fights in comic history , its also some of the best commentary and explaining on something i ever seen and heard .

i feel like battle beast coudlve won. thragg was only able to beat him by grabbing his organs from the stomach wound battle beast created himself. and in the fight thragg had loads of scars and 1 eye but battle beast seemingly didnt have any injuries apart from his stomach

My only problem with this fight is the fact that a good portion of it happened off panel. It was the most anticipated match up in Invincible and while it didnt disappoint, that part stung a bit.

Imagine knowing battle beast have a contract on you.. 😩💀💀😂

Allen's crew made such a colossal fuckup here. The plan was fucking FOOLPROOF. If Battle Beast and Thragg had fought without injuries, the result would've likely been exactly the same. However, releasing the Ragnars after wearing down Thragg would've finished him off for good in his state. They fumbled SO hard.

Battle beast lost because he wounded himself. Thrag ended up ripping out Battle Beast intestines that had him on the verge of death. Really screwed himself on that one especially since Thrag can regenerate rather quickly. Thrag wearing Battle Beast pelt was pimp as fuck. Thrag was like put some respect on his name I almost died fighting this Beast.

Then probably it would take more like 15 years Lol. I don’t think we will get to that honestly, the wait could kill the show....

@@j4nd0not really, kirkman said the wait for season 2 would be the longest wait between seasons we would get, and I believe it because the voice acting is already done for season 3 3 months prior to season 2. It will probably be only one year between seasons after that point, but season 3 is probably gonna come out literally 6 months after all of season 2 airs

This is how you do an Epic 1-vs-1 Battle! This is how you create two characters that are so OP within the world/universe you (the writer) have developed, that the reader can cklearly recognize whomis THE strongest! The fact that these two dont even meet until very late in the Series helps to create a tension and suspense which gives us, the readers, a real feeling of unease. We genuinely do not know who will win... and that's one of the best parts of this Battle. In addition, we have already been given plenty of examples throughout this Comic that show us that the "Good Guys/Heroes" don't always win. I really, really hope that we get to see this in animation form!

Wow yet another clueless comic fan the entirely misses the point of fights in comics. its the drama and emotional beats, the reason they are fighting in the first place. How the fight changes the characters and makes them grow and here you are walking away with just Thragg beats BattleBeast cuz he's stronger. That is THE LEAST interesting part about these fights because the winner is determined by narrative needs, not their power level.

Except the healing factor doesn't kick in till they aren't in active combat. Till then it's their species natural stamina. and durability.

I wonder how many people of the general public know about the crazy shit that go on in the comic. Its clear that much more people are looking into it now but it's also pretty clear that there is still a big number of people who have not. For one, a lot of their focus is still on the Viltrumites and the Viltrumites alone when there are other dangerous characters in the series. There're also people who still think Mark never wins a single fight

What are you talking about? Thragg lived through this because Battle Beast helped him kill the Ragnars out of his own sense of honor. I don’t see how this is in any way contrived or forced just to keep Thragg alive. It’s completely in character for Battle Beast to hinder himself like this in an effort to have a fair fight.
