If that's the most embarrassing loss you have EVER seen, you need to watch more than one episode.

The most embarrassing final Jeopardy answer EVER, was many years ago when Art Fleming was host and some guy actually put down Pittsburgh as the birthplace of Jesus. Art Fleming is still laughing. If I were the contestant, I would have left the country.

That’s actually a very honorable end to a jeopardy episode. Aiming to win in the most honorable fashion, he ended up losing in the most honorable fashion. No shame there.

I don’t think it was embarrassing because of the amount lost. I thought it was embarrassing because at this point in time Leo DiCaprio had won 0 Oscars.

I still think that Cliff Clavin's Final Jeopardy was more embarrassing

At first it looks like a really dumb mistake, but it turns out to actually be an unfortunate quirk involving the fact that the leader went into final jeopardy with exactly 1.5x the score as the runner-up.

This was actually so smart from Christine. She knows, that she has second place in the bag, as well as the fact that even if she goes all out, The guy in the lead will have enough to cover. So she stayed put at 14 K knowing that the guy would bid enough to cover by a DOLLAR. What I think would’ve been more smart from the guy was to bid 7K on the dot. That way, there’s low risk but also reward

This wasn't embarrassing at all. He bet enough to beat her. He just missed the question. An embarrassing loss is when you can't be caught and you lose by being greedy, betting too much and missing the questions. I've seen that before. Those are embarrassing.

Would be better titled "Best Jeopardy Final Bid Ever" --- great bid by Christine

Tom Hanks was actually a pretty good guess for being on the spot like that.
