As a native English speaker....agreed rural is a stupid word. You have to be so deliberate while pronouncing and slow down, it's frustrating for everyone.

Thank you for such cool explaining! For me it's always hard to pronounce sounds R and TH together, like Airworthy, Anti-arthritics, or something similar, where the R and TH sounds have to be pronounce side by side. It's real hard for me :(
Enjoyed it very much, so helpful!!!
Thankyou! That was so helpful.

Love your classes. 😁 I'm a British South African English teacher. I pronounce succinct => suksinct.
YES! Great stuff!
Really enjoyed it! Thanks
Thanks for this video! It was useful as always. For me, it is very hard to distinguish the difference between "science" and "signs" in pronunciation. I say both words the same.
Awesome teacher papa I enjoyed it thoroughly this video and you coaxing more videos like this to improve our English. Thank you so much

"Rural" ... reminds me of the '30 Rocks' episode: The Rural Juror. 😂 Listening to the show's characters attempting to say the title of the fictional film is always hilarious.
I’ve spent my whole life trying to say the words “word” and “world” correctly and your tip simply has worked!!! Thanks a lot!!! Now I must find the way to pronounce “murderer” without swallowing my tongue!!!!
Thank you, Ali, for these explanations - very helpful! And also for those _Insta_ videos with inquirers: two Russians, whoa! But I stopped at 8:37 and listened to this girl @candacesapphireblue from Taiwan time and again. Because a) I didn't get what she said ('between-nya') b) that *intonation* 😃
By any measure - you are THE BEST!
Helpful video, thanks a lot
Thank you, Ali! As per usual, your lesson has been great. It might be too late, but I would like to know how to pronounce 'cup' and 'cap'. It really is difficult!
Nice class Aly..thank you brother. The words hard to pronounce to me are method - Catholic - athletic
This is what I was looking for long ...I've got the correct idea of pronunciation of "TH".....thank you...
Your teaching method is great. Thanks so much. For me, "quarter" is a difficult word to pronounce.
in the arabic language we have all the sounds in all languages and even more, yay! btw i discover your channel last week and i already watched more of 15 among your videos. your method of teaching is the best ever. fingers crossed for you to reach the 1m

Thanks ever so much! 👍👏👏👏
Thanks. to me it was really helpful!!🌷
You're awesome Aly! Love You!
Hey Papa! I'm a huge fan of yours. Isn't the word "succinct" pronounced (at least in RP / contemporary RP accent) like this: /səkˈsɪŋkt/? The most renowned dictionaries show that this is indeed the 'proper' pronunciation. It's not a word that is usually used in informal conversations so that's probably why I haven't heard it used in the way you say that (with that double SS instead of hard K). Might you clarify that for me, please? Keep it up mate, cheers!
@HeadRoaster
5 жыл бұрын
as a native speaker, though American, I can corroborate the SS sound he's suggesting is the way i hear that word used most often.
Please make a podcast about names of chemical compounds and elements. Me as chemist being always confused in spelling because there is a lot of French and German influence.
Many Brazilian in this video. I wanna show up too. 😆😆. Papa you're amazing! Thanks so much.
Realllllyyyyy you're perfect teacher 🏆
I think the issue between A and E like bad/bed , man/men is cause we're used to hear ( in songs for example ) people speaking in " American English " and the sounds there seem almost the same ...
I really do luv tgis man why in teaching .... he's the only reason why i like British accent ....he makes the British accent so easy....thanx man
I learnt a lot from your videos ❤
wow interesting thanks teacher Ali papa english God bless
14:37 The trickiest ones, thanks a lot mate
Thanks teacher! 😁
Thank you Papa for this video! The word "word" was mentioned in this video but i can't distinguish the pronounciation of these three words " word", "wall" and "world". It's really difficult!
Could you make a video about common idioms! That Will be helpful
