3:40 it's quite an english thing to have milk with tea. I realised this after growing up in England and thinking milk was normal and then moving to Australia, working in a cafe and having basically everyone say no when I ask if they want milk with their tea. It's actually only really the people with UK accents that say yes ahaha.

THISSS! In Poland people don't really put milk in their tea. The more ''normal'' thing is to drink it with sugar or lemon. I work in a cafe and I don't really even bother to ask anyone if they want it with milk or not unless they're from abroad.

With the politeness, I presume that you don't see that due to you living in London (I cannot personally comment on London). Also in the ' Sidemen Abandoned Challenge' I believe some of the Sidemen supported this statement. Based on this, I think if you move away from London you will be a lot less stressed and have a huge culture shock (but that probably be the same anywhere after moving away from a huge City like London or vice-versa)

As an American, the polite thing is expected and I think that can be seen a bit in the random location video they dropped the other week where everyone was so nice. I think any city you go in the world people are rude because thats how city like is so for all of them to react like they did about the politeness assumption I assume they had the mindset of London rather than the outskirts. Obviously I can't say whether or not thats true but thats the main gist I got from that little segment. Everything else seemed pretty spot on with how people here perceive you guys. One thing I will say is I personally have never had any issues with accents. I can fully understand Scouse or Geordie accents and it surprises me others can't. It's obviously different to what I normally hear but at the end of the day its just a change in pitch and slang which isn't hard to pick up. I also hate the UK vs. US thing where they make fun of each others accents and voices and stuff, never understood why how I talk is funny to British people or how British people talk is funny to friends of mine. Literally just people saying words lol

You’re actually right, the number of people with regional accents in America are dwindling in favor of “General American” that you hear commonly on TV shows and movies. I would guess the same thing doesn’t happen in England because people with those accents had been speaking like that for literal centuries, while USA is a young country especially relative to England; things like accents are more volatile as a result
