I didn't realise how green and lush England is until I went to a Mediterranean country that was dry and baron. Seeing England with fresh eyes opened my mind. It's like a fairy tale land in places.

yeah I live right on the edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, and I'm so used to seeing green rolling hills, I never really think about how nice it really is. until I go somewhere else for awhile, but even then quickly take it for granted again.

I grew up in New Zealand but live in the UK now. People here underrate how beautiful the UK is. Many have told me about how stunning NZ is and my response is that the UK is amazingly beautiful as well, you guys just have to check it out more often.

We do live in a beautiful country.

The Yorkshire Dales and The North Yorkshire Moors are the most beautiful places in England in my opinion

And most tourists just go to London and Stratford, this video makes me proud of my beautiful country.

I'm a Northerner. SO glad you found and appreciate the beauty of this part of England. If you come back, you must visit the Forest of Bowland and Pendle Hill. So off the tourist trail but so gorgeous.

Isn't it good to see tourists visiting other areas besides London? As exciting as London is - If any other tourists are looking to visit, see Wales and the English Lake District in Cumbria and the beauty of Scotland, you'll see the *REAL* beauty of Britain.

You guys a pretty awesome...unlike a lot of Americans who visit the UK you didn't just stay in London. I'm lucky enough to live not too far from the Lake District and it really is an incredible part of the UK..

I'm from the Lake District - it's so cool seeing some bloggers exploring our beautiful region!!

I always notice how nice our country is when I've come off a cruise holiday and I'm on a coach back home from Southampton to Liverpool. I just love how green the uk is!

It never ceases to amaze me how a small island like the UK can be so diverse and so beautiful almost wherever you go.

Finally someone who doesn't base their opinion on London! And come to my part of the UK!

I actually prefer English places like hills and forests more when it's misty and drizzling

It gives it a pretty magical vibe when it's foggy and overcast. I think it was definitely more exciting hiking up in the fog, but we're glad we had sunlight at the top so we could really take everything in :)

You guys brought me close to tears with this one, i can never get up there due to spinal injuries.....having said that, this is my new target, i need to experience that. I have never seen anything like that and i i'm English 💔👍.

I’m a Northerner who now lives in Cornwall, and this made me homesick. These are my old stamping grounds. Brought back many happy memories. Thank you. PS Cornwall is also stunning and has fantastic beaches.

People don’t realise how beautiful this part of England is, I have spoke to many from all over the world who have visited and they are blown away by the scenery, 600 year old pubs at the foot of the hills with micro brewery’s...it really is like something out of a postcard.

They say it is grim up north, but they do not know.

Maybey it was at one time .but i think things have been reversed , who would want to live in London its so busy you feel cramped . You pay a fortune just to drive through. Youd be struggling to find a place to park up . If you need to rent a place its 4 or 5 times the price it is up north . I dont want you all to move up north and crowd me out , but how you can afford to live down there amazes me . I used to live there when i was a teenager .i didnt find it very friendly and welcoming . So please stop there , dont come up here and push up prices.

It’s lovely that you lovely young people are experiencing so much and welcome to the UK you are great ambassadors of the US.

Bold move tackling Striding Edge in cloud and wet weather, but definitely worth it for that view! Worth noting that proper equipment is essential when hiking in the Lakes: full waterproofs, hiking boots, map & compass, plenty of layers etc.

I live in Surrey now, but originate from Yorkshire, this video has made me re-evaluate why I still live here, it's better scenery up there, friendlier people, far better food and people don't spend their time talking like experts about things they know next to nothing about!

I took my girlfriend to Malham cove on our first date :D it was so warm and we got sunburned but it is one of my favourite memories.

OMG I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE!! ITS LITERALLY HEAVEN!! AWESOME.😍😍😍

Hey! Welcome to my part of the world glad you enjoyed it. Although Ribblehead and Malham are only an hour and a half drive away from the Lake District they're actually in the Yorkshire Dales, which is a different National Park.

Love this video, so brilliant that you went beyond London as so many travellers to England ignore the north completely. Northern England to me is far far more beautiful and incredible. Glad you enjoyed it

We had an amazing time in the north!

My home. Magical and breathtaking. I'm still getting out to all these beautiful places that I have visited many times during lock down. Helvellyn and Striding Edge terrified me as a 13 year old with my dad in the snow. My Dad locked his keys in the car at Ribble head when I was 14! And Malham was a fun school trip out. And Ingleton, magical and mystical. Dad taught me how a camera works on that walk. Thank you for taking me back. I will go to all these much loved and very close places after lock down. Thank you again 🙏 I'm going to phone my Dad now.

The American author Bill Bryson once lived in Malham, Yorkshire.

Fantastic video. Definitely the best part of England and one of the best parts of the British Isles. The wet and cloudy weather just adds to the atmosphere.

It is great to love your country, as do I, but the world is a big place with staggering scenery in every corner of the globe - and a globe has infinite corners ;)

By far the best travel channel on the tube really feel you take your viewers with you and don't throw mountains of money to do your trips which shows people you can have the time of your life on a budget . Well done guys

I must have climbed Helvellyn more than 10 times and never had that amazing above the clouds view before! Very lucky people, and amazing video footage of striding edge. Well done guys.

May I suggest the Brecon Beacons or Snowdonia for a future trip?

I wish we had more time there! Unfortunately it got dark right as we arrived 😬 But the hike up Helvellyn was spectacular. Best hike we've done so far!

'Stuffing a coin in the tree is apparently good luck.' I'm guessing bringing a pair of pliers and a torch in the dead of night to collect as much cash as possible is bad luck?

Thanks so much! We're so glad we were able to get it up for a few minutes. It was so cold that the batteries kept dying so we had to stick them up our shirts and down our pants to warm them up 😂 but it definitely paid off!

Thanks so much! Ya, if you can handle being a bit chilly, it's definitely worth exploring awesome places in the winter. We only saw a handful of people on the 8 mile hike 🙌

My favourite part of England, knocks spots off even Cornwall, Scarfell and Great Gable have great views too.

I grew up in Skipton which is about 9 miles from Malham and we visited there regularly. I walked up Hellvellyn in 1984 or 1985 with 2 friends and the whole area of the Lake DIstrict and the Yorkshire Dales is unforgettable. I am glad you got to see the sites. My father would have loved your film too! Well done!

Great video. We visited Malham Cove yesterday for the first time and was incredible. Once we got on top of the cove we then walked to Gordale Scar and then Janets Foss. Definitely need to give Helvellyn a try next.

Cumbria in general has the best views in England for me everything is just natural, glad yous loved it

Hi there, no It's in Yorkshire. The waterfall valley at Buckden is about 20 miles from Malham Cove that you visited in your video. A really lovely place. And Aysgarth Falls is a bit further on. You could have had that view above the clouds any foggy day in SF by going to Twin Peaks in the late morning or early afternoon. It is breathtaking and unique wherever it is and the hike probably helped you appreciate it more. Great video.

Being from Cumbria in Northern England i feel lucky to live in Carlisle which is the capital of Cumbria where you were at.The Lake District is the most stunning place and i am glad you enjoyed yourself.Also watched your videos on Cornwall.That is also stunning.I don't go their often enough.
