@@Frenchie_on_the_go I don’t know which California you live that has bad roads, maybe California Mexico. The one I live in has some of the best roads in America. And I have traveled America by road from South Carolina to California and Florida to Illinois! State roads in California such as 101 Freeway, 114 PCH are better than Interstate Highways in most states !

Hi Tigress, Im originally from Bloemfontein but currently based in Ficksburg the next border town of lesotho the weather is somehow cool due to the mountains. Lesotho is one of highest countries in the world because of the Drakensberg mountain range and is the one of the main source of water for South Africa and the home of adventure and peace loving people enjoy.

Lesotho is one of the highest country in the world in what??? Lesotho is the ten province of South Africa because the whole population of Lesotho they work, shop and live in South Africa. Lesotho just like Swaziland get everything from South Africa, Majority of South African consider Lesotho and Swaziland as the last two provinces of South Africa.

We did this with my son the other way round in August 2022. Starting from Pilanesberg, going to Lesotho, then P.E., Agulhas, Cape Town. A lovely corner of this planet.

African Tigress, you always immerse us in the countries that you visit so that we get a wide scope of the country and we feel that we are right there. You did the same with South Africa and you showed us the different types of communities and housing in this country. Thank you for showing us the townships - they feel so familiar to me. Thank you also to your beautiful dreadlocked guide! He was a pleasure.

Originally from Uganda, but as a child we lived in the eastern cape and used to travel on our Family holidays to sterkspruit near the Lesotho border and may other small eastern cape towns and as an athlete we used to travel to compete in cradock, Port Elizabeth and many other small towns. This also brought me very fond memories.
