That's pretty much how I did it for years until the 30 Platinums challenge. Still my go-to way for trophies, only for games I really enjoy!

I done it within a few attempts, I've been playing call of duty since I was about 6 years old though. Playing a cod game is just second nature to me these days 😂 unless it's the jet pack games (except infinite/advanced warfare) I was pretty good at those too.

Titanfall 2’s become the master trophy where you have to do the training level under 32 seconds.

The Mile High Club is glitched, you can play the level on easy, then on the part where you need to kill the guy taking the president hostage, you quit the game and return and put on veteran, and you will just need to kill the guy and jump.

@@wfkernea yeah, thank god It is in the entire game, call of duty games in veterano are just BS, unfair and anoying, i believe that the developer aré just lazy to create a real Challenge, they Just put the enemies tô kill you with 2-3 shots, compare with Black in PS2, where the Challenge was tô be careful and conserve health and ammo while the enemies are Just smarter and are more careful.

I hate trophies related to time(s) or precentage spended to something specific or forced multiplayer trophies to get a platinum.

Honestly I'd hold off buying one now, and wait and see what way Sony go with the whole backwards compatibilit for the Ps5. Can always play the exclusives then and your console won't be out of date in 18months

Thank God i used a glitch for that Trophy otherwise i would have probaly gone insane. I used a glitch to slow down the game wich made it realy easy

I always wonder who on the development team of each game decides what kind or type of trophy/achievement in the game. Some trophies are ridiculous.

When I worked as a tester for a small game dev - trophies were made by programers/testers, depended on the game (sometimes programers weren't so into the game and just wanted to spend as minimal time they can with it)

I retired after I hit 10,000 trophies, over 10 years. And what was my 10,000th trophy? Arguably the hardest trophy ever. SFV Platinum. The first series I played as a kid and the final trophy to finish my trophy hunting journey. Even the description of the trophy hit me in the feels. "Sweet! You got all the trophies! You're really somethin'. Isn't that right, Ryu?" "You have done well to reach the end of this one journey. The path to becoming a true fighter still lies ahead, but let us take time to share the joy of your accomplishment"

Online trophies aren't as bad . Multiplayer and coop trophies however are the worst . There's simple online trophies like on Hitman for example . Some of them you just like someones custom contract . The only time online trophies are all the way stupid is for games you worked hard for and you realize they cancelled the online for the games network . That's horrible .

hunter affleck that’s why I always look at the roadmap before I go for a platinum. If it’s a game I know I’m going to do, I do the online stuff first like in uncharted 4. And why I never bothered for call of duty infinite warfare, the online trophy is glitched so I’m not even gonna play the rest of it.

Respect for your trophy hunting skills sir! I love having trophies even though I’m not much of a trophy hunter. I only have 3 Plats. But whenever I explain why I want trophy/achievement support from Nintendo, people tend to respond by saying “We don’t watch trophies” or “they’re meaningless”. I like trophies because it gives me goals in the game and it shows how much you actually like that game. (If you play games you like only) but I wish Nintendo would adopt a trophy/achievement system because TROPHIES MATTER!!!

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gold Rush Trophy. Getting 70 Gold Medals on story missions. And the objectives you complete don't carry over so you need to do them in one go. Alot of them are timed and accuracy based. But if you're replaying them your stats are reset. Just to make it even harder... AND ITS NOT EVEN A GOLD TROPHY

I'm glad that they apparently nerfed it, but unlike GTA V, I barely receive any gold medals on my first trys. I hope the replays look a bit better because I want a platinum for every Rockstar Game on PS4 and RDR2 shouldn’t be an exception (GTA V and Bully: check) lmao.

Would like to see more in this series. Keep in mind though, you dont need to show us you attempting the requirements each time. It's also ok to just sit down and talk about the trophy, some strats, and how you earned it. Anyway, mile high club was the bane of my existence. It took me hours to earn that damn minute long trophy. The RNG is what made it so difficult. It was never consistent.

Great video! Most annoying trophy for me was Desert Survivalist from Fallout: New Vegas, where you have to heal 10000 points of damage with food. Such an annoying trophy where I got just over halfway then just used an exploit because I couldn't take the grind anymore!

Sebulba2000 the Last of Us Part II is launching single player only with factions coming at a later date. Hopefully the trophy list is single player only and not like Red Dead Redemption 2 where the trophy list included multiplayer trophies even though the mode was released over a month later.

Sonic Forces "Honor Roll" - Achive highest grade with all races. This one was torture. I replayed the same stage over and over again for HOURS to achive this. Basicly use the "electric gun" to collect as many rings as possible in the "Arsenal Pyramid" stage. Over and over again...

Gravity Rush 1: Rift Plane Health Race. I love this game however, doing this challenge was tough. You need to be precise and fast and complete a time trial under a certain amount of time. Due to the game having a more floaty and nontraditional controls, this trophy was really frustrating to do. After you get the pattern and controls down, it is only worth a silver trophy.

With the mile high club I did the glitch where you go through it on recruit then on a certain checkpoint or something you leave and then really quickly turn it to veteran and it leaves off from there. It’s something like that

I love it when i almost have all trophies and then the only one i have left to do requires ps plus.

Love that you can pick up and chuck the battery. Better than throwing the controllers in frustration.

"Hold my hair" in Watch Dogs 2, could take you 15 minutes or 150 hours, it's completely random

That one was pretty annoying. Took me about 25 minutes but it was just really dull. Witcher 3 headshot challenge was worse though.

I remember I completed mile high club and I was so excited until the exit screen was glitched and didn’t end so I had to reset and didn’t get it, I was mortified. Got it eventually tho

I just completed the 'take the cannoli' trophy in vice city. I used the cone crazy and shooting the truck in the movie studio method. Meant I had to rubberband my controller and leave it overnight but that beats entering a cheat code for 4 hours straight.

The ‘death by disco’ trophy for the Ratchet and Clank reboot. You have to use the groovitron weapon on every type if enemy in the game. What makes it annoying is that there is no way to track this, and some of the enemy types are missable and not really ‘enemies’. (Ex: swimming and grounded pool shark count as different enemies, and it counts the Gaspar and Pokitaru telopathopuses as different enemy types as well). It’s a bronze too lol.

At least Mile High Club has an exploit where you can do the mission on easy and load the last checkpoint on veteran. Call of Duty: World At War on the other hand... Oof! Hardest difficulty where enemies seem to throw about 20 grenades at you each every half a second and the one silver trophy of shooting down a bunch of planes, I can't remember the mission name but you have to shoot down a bunch of planes within a time limit. Similar trophy in Battlefield 1 where you need to shoot down a bunch of planes within 30 seconds and the playable character keeps shouting the same lines of dialog about how he's such a great bloke. Loved this video by the way, would love to see more!

That World at War trophy you're talking about is called "Sum of All Zeroes". I actually managed to get it after a few tries. The one I could never get was the one you get for beating "Heart of the Reichstag" (the 2nd to last level) on Veteran. It is the ONLY level I never beat on Veteran.

I would like a series were we watch you get the achievements that annoy you. I was really hoping that you'd get that cannibalism achievement. I think there is some real catharsis for you and the audience in a series like that.

For The Godfather ranking in Vice City I did it without cheats, I flew the Sea Sparrow to the film studio and I taped the trigger button down so it shoots a truck and you get criminal ranking points for accuracy... you do this till you get 1,000,000 criminal rating points.

Beat Nico from Wipeout HD (also on the Wipeout Omega Collection on the PS4) is perfect for this video. It's a hard trophy from a hard game and series, though I love the series dearly.

One trophy that took me a while to get was on fallout 3. You had to get 50 successful speech checks in 1 playthrough. It required a lot of saving and reloading over and over as some checks were hard to pass.

Love your content. If I had one criticism is that your audio is always so quiet. Would be great if you used a mic to capture your voice. Other than that, love your vids!

Any of the Yakuza trophies that make you knock over 100 people.(I know Y3 has one of those) Its SUPER awkward to line up and it only works with the old people

@ Y0 was the first one I played and completed so it's where I started learning mahjong too. It was pretty brutal at first, but then I started to enjoy it. Cat Scratch Fever didn't give me too much trouble surprisingly, took me maybe 20 attempts until I got the 10 wins. I picked Jennifer 90% of the time and sometimes Francisca, never anyone else. From there you aim for the counter to the other girl's strongest attack and pray to God you don't get bullshitted out of a win. It's a test of patience and endurance rather than skill.

The most recent annoying trophy i've encountered was that one for defeating 500 bounties in Diablo 3. Its the only trophy i need to platinum but too dang monotonous and tedious to put up with anytime soon.

IMO the most annoying thing with PlayStation Trophies is Multiplayer Online-Only Trophies for games that already have servers switched off. I mean, why developers can't release a patch or something that gives you most (or every multiplayer trophy) for that game.

Also, I know that it can be unfair for someone that spent hundreds if not thousands of hours for every multiplayer trophy for some game but... at this moment, when I'm writing it (7th January 2019) there's sale on PS Store. On that sale there is Resistance 2 and Uncharted 2 without working servers. I'm not sure but I think that it is kinda unfair to someone who buys i.e. in theory full Resistance 2 game for 5$ or something like that, and in practice all he have is Single player campaign without multiplayer online (I don't remember if that game had Splitscreen multiplayer). Skate 3 had some nice "social" trophy that was achieved after selling 1 milion skateboards by every player.

Blazblue Calamity Trigger has a bunch of online trophies I'll never get. 😑

I'm not sure if this counts, but there were a few Motorstorm Pacific Rift time attacks that nearly sent me over the edge. I want to say Buggy on Caldera Ridge might have been the worst. Or possibly Monster Truck on Wildfire.

The most annoying trophy for me to get was beating all special ops missions on veteran in mw2. See this was on the ps3 and I didn’t have friends or internet. So I had two remotes on the levels that required two players, and I play on both by myself. I did this like 10 years ago and I don’t know how I even managed to do it

One that has always stuck with me is the chapter 2 speedrun trophy in the original Mirrors Edge

This reminds me of the trophy "conservation" in Metal Gear Solid V. Where you had to extract every single animal in the game to your base but there was this one rare animal(I forget the name) where it took me like 4 hours combined to get it. You basically had to set a trap in a certain part of the map and once you get in your chopper and return to mother base you'd see if you caught it. So I had to set a trap, call the chopper, wait to see if I caught it, if I didn't, id have to wait for the loading screen then I'd have to go back to the same area, set more traps and yeah haha.

I don't understand how people are having this much trouble with it. The trophy is really easy

A recent one I had was a couple of the hat combo trophies for "Steamworld Heist". Now, I will say it is a fun game and most of the trophies are enjoyable. Yet the hat combo trophies requires three hats per combo. They will randomly appear on certain enemies, and some of them took me like 2 hours to spawn. Tediously restarting a turn waiting for the enemy to walk out with that one hat. Also, this game isn't long. 8-12 hours depending on difficulty and player skill. You will double the time with the hat collecting alone. Got to love RNG.

Thought this was a really enjoyable video, Hope you can turn it into a series. I wouldn't be able to do that Call of Duty one to save my life. The flow trophy looks insane as well, I hate the Sixaxis so would struggle hugely with that. 36 Fragments of Midnight I have in my backlog so will have to tackle the frustrating trophy tied to that at some point. Regarding ideas for trophies which could be featured in a future video I have a couple of suggestions from games I've played recently. Firstly Beta Rescue Diamond from InFamous First Light where you have to score 500,000 points in the rescue mode of the 2nd battle arena. Very doable with persistence and determination but annoying initially as the hostages die quite easily. Secondly either Survival of the Fittest or Machine Crusher from Tekken 6 (PS3). First one requires 10 consecutive wins in survival mode which sounds very easy as you usually have to beat a lot more in other fighting games but it's tough for some reason in this game. The other one involves beating a big robot in arcade mode which is hard to do plus you have to wait until about stage 5 for it to appear. So if you loose you have to replay arcade from the beginning. The trophy for beating the Nightmare Train level in campaign mode is probably even worse but not suitable to be featured as it can only be tackled later in the game.

Mad Scientist comes to mind for me most recently in Outer Worlds. You have to kill an enemy under the effect of 4 science weapons. The effects only last a couple of seconds so you basically have to get lucky with the timing of it all. It was a nightmare for me, I just got lucky eventually.

Hi Ryan. The 'Get 0 second on Chocobo balloon race' in Final Fantasy 10 is a bit ridiculous. Another one where the game finally allows you to win it. It isn't one you could quickly get to though in-game.

Hell of a Sheriff from Resident Evil 2 Ghost Suvivors DLC was a pain.

Yup! And after working my ass off to get that sweet, sweet 100% completion, Capcom added another bronze trophy (Chasing Jill) that brought it down to 98%. Shiiiiiit!

I remember doing it first try while my friend said it was really hard.

Trails of Cold Steel 3 was my latest platinum, not a single annoyance but for one fight where the AI seemed to bug out first time around for every attempt, then on nightmare difficulty it was a complete non-issue. Worth the 100 hours because it was tied to a great game and the NewGame+ replay was just as fun. Star Ocean Last Hope International platinum-hunt though.

I enjoyed this. Most annoying are the ones where the servers been shut down so can't get them anymore. They should patch the game first to make the online trophies unlockable in single player. Do you think they will ever have For night only? type events, where say they reactivate the Gran Turismo 5 servers for one weekend so you can unlock them. That would be cool.

for the mile-high trophy I just found a glitch that spawned you in the last room and it got me the plat.

One of the annoying trophy in rdr2 where you need to get gold stuff which they say it a gold but the trophy it self is silver 😅🤣

Faris Latif Need for Speed 2015 is one of the best racing games on PS4, people only didn’t like it because you couldn’t play offline at launch but now you can. The graphics are very good and the driving is really fun and the game is very cheap when on offer (about £4)

I'd suggest the Knack trophy for getting Diamond Knack which I expected to see since you used the clip in the intro lol

I’m trying to do Rayman legends trophy where you need to get a million lums. The trophy also relates to getting awesomeness level 11 and its really annoying because of the grind that has to be done. Basically to get awesomeness 11 you gotta keep scoring good on daily challenges, so you have to go onto the game ever day for about half a year

Gta4 petrovic and bad company 10001 kills are the ones that I remember the most. Though uncharted games online trophies were PITA too and also not looking forward to TLOU online trophies.. oh and black ops 3 zombies easter eggs.

The worst and most annoying trophy I have ever gotten was the Social Lubricant trophy from Watch Dogs (before patch). SO much rage for just a bronze.

Risette Fan trophy in p4g. Lots of spreadsheets, notes, multiple guides, and many many many hours. I was so ready to be done with the game by the end of getting it.

Not long ago, I got three trophies in one Kingdom Hearts playthrough. Don't change equipments don't make "continue" when you die and beat the game within 12 hours. Sure, they are not hard to get individually, but combined, they are hard as heck.
