Moskvin, so much fire. Glad I stumbled upon this.

Moskvin uses some really deep and well rounded samples, but his timing and technique is not the same as some of the competitors I've seen. Too many press one button and wait moments. Nick is legitimatly old school in his approach, flawless in execution, but the casuals just aren't into it.
@djsk244

agreed, but you gotta remember, Being great at sampling is also part of being a beatmaker. there are better guys in terms of timing and technique, but the crowd always prefers something more catchy than "skilled".

Nick smashes this, other dude is a bit eager like that lad in natural born killers giving head to Mallory Knox, whereas Nick is more Mickey.
@PickpocketJones

I didn't think this was even close, Nick Brown should be winner in a landslide. One guy had thoughtful, well constructed beats that breathed, had timing, and flow. The other guy was noisy and loud and the beats lacked flow and funk if you ask me. In those last little drum segments neither were great but Moskvin frankly mistimed all sorts of drums throughout. Obviously both guys are really talented and deserve praise, splitting hairs on two talented people so consider the context of my comment.
Best beat battle I've seen in a long time.
